Suki has had a dark past full of blood and killing. She was taken and then trained when she was a young pup to be the most fierce fighting dog in the rings. For two years she had been killing for a living, until cops bust one of these illegal fights. She escapes the clutches of the police and an almost insured death, but now she has nowhere to go besides the streets.

Lost and alone on the same rainy night, a young pup sits alone in a crate, unsold and unwanted. Luke's whinpering attracts the attention of a large red dog that growls at him as she passes.

As Suki continues down the street, something in her heart reminds her of when she was the unwanted pup. She was once left alone to die. And she returned to the young pup and takes him in as her own, vowing that he will never learn of her past and that she will change her ways.

But her old trainer is still out there. He also escaped the cops and is on the hunt for his once prize-wining runaway. And by his side is his new fighting dog. The trainer is determined to get back at Suki for leaving him to deal with the cops and has his new dog trained to track and kill. Can Suki break her old habits of violence? Can she protect Luke from her past? Could somebody ever care for a heart so lost in blood? And could Luke be the light in Suki's disaterous past?

Appearence: larger, rust colored fur, thin silver chain collar, green eyes full of emotion
Personality: doesn't speak much, usually just has a scowl on her face, she has random out breaks of violence especailly when someone upsets her, she can be a very scary sight
History: Suki's father was a purebred Akita who had pups with a wolf/chow mix. Her two siblings looked like Akita's, but Suki looked like her orange/red mother. She was dumped on the streets and picked up by her trainer before her mother could find her. She was trained as a fighter and that is the only way of life that she knows.

Age: 5
Appearence: she looks like a really furry wolf, her fur is orangish red, midnight blue eyes
Personality: kind-hearted, motherly, daring
History: Fiata lived on the streets until she met he future mate, a pure-bred Akita. She had his pups on the street, and was able to get two of them homes by putting them in a wooden box and allowing people to take them. She didn't know until it was too late that Suki had gotten out of the box and picked up my a scumbag. She had been looking for her daughter ever since.
Other: she has little interaction with her mate and other pups because of their owners dislike of her

Appearnece: big black and rugged, looks like his name implies, black spiked collar, murderous brown eyes
Personality: Blood thirsty, violent, only listens to his master Mako
Histroy: Grim comes from a long line of fighting dogs.

Appearence: dark brown/rusty fur, akita build and sky blue eyes
Personality: protective of his sister Suki though he had become more distant from her, thinks he is always right, a bit stuck up, ladies man
History: He was adopted by a kind older man that has become his best friend. He doesn't spend much time out on the streets or outside at all.

Appearence: build of a small wolf, black and brown marble fur, hazel eyes, quite beautiful in both dog and wolf eyes
Personality: fun-loving, innocent, loving, kind-hearted, naive
History: Jesse used to live with her mother in the woods when her father left with her husky like brother. She ventured into town to find her family, but she found out that they had long moved to a new city. She has hung around the town because of curiousity of what life as a stray was like.

Appearence: Brown fured but fur is more like a coyote, he has floppy ears and a dark brown 'mask' and 'boots' patterns.
Personailty: Kindhearted, caring, easily frightened, loving, easily frightened, hates fighting.
History: An abandoned pup whos parents were killed, his mother is a Golden Retriever and his father was a Coyote.
Other: He's really danger prone.

Personailty: Evil, a sadistic psychopath and the first to tell you he is, did I mention evil?
History: The owner of the dog fighting ring Suki was from.

Personailty: suprisingly kind, she only eats rats, she is kind to dogs and who never eat them, in fact, they make her throw up if she tastes their fur.
History: A alligator that someone bought as a pet, once she got too big, they flushed her down the toliet and she ended up in the sewer were she's been ever sense.
Other: She's 7 feet long.

Personailty: Kind, a little cold, he's been hurt in the past and doesn't want to be again.
History: A stray in NEw York who's family abandoned him. He wants to be accepted but is afraid he'll get hurt once more.

Personailty: Easily angered, kindhearted, hates to be reminded he was once a fighting dog, wants a fresh start.
History: He used to be a fighting dog but escaped, he wants to get a fresh start but dogs always insult him and remind him of it, also distrusting him.

Bic:// Suki walked down the streets of New York City. She glanced back at the small puppy that was following at her heels. She looked quickly back forward, drawing her eyes away from the small brown puppy. Suki had no idea how to care for another dog let alone try to be the caretaker of this small helpless pup. She looked at the ground as it passed beneath her feet. What in the world was she getting herself into?

Fiata lept up on a crate that was abondoned in an alley. She sighed. All hoped of finding her daughter had been lost recently. She had heard of her youngest daughter's fate from a couple of local dogs. She had been hoping to find Suki and take her away from the fighting rings for two years now. Still, there was no sign of her anywhere. She had hoped to find her daughter when she heard word of a crashed fighting arena, but there was no sign of Suki there. It was a hopeless cause.

Grim snarled at a passing dog as he wondered the streets. He had a rope of sausages wrapped around his neck. He had recently robbed the butcher's and was making his way back to his owner. Ever since the run-in with the police, Mako and Grim had been living in hiding as out-laws.

Rust laid on the couch inside his owner's house. He yawned widely, tired of doing nothing all day. He got up off the piece of furniture and walked toward his doggie door. As soon as he got outside, he nearly walked right back in. He wasn't a fan of the outside weather at all.

Jesse sprinted down that street as a group of angry dogs chased after her. All of them pure-bred housepets, of course. It had started with a few cat calls than a kick to the face than into a run for her life. With her small form, she was able to jump through a hole in a wooden fence that none of the bigger dogs had a hope of getting through. After a few hard bangs to the fence, and quite a lot of laughter, the dogs finally retreated. Jesse sighed and laid down, looking around at the small alley she had entered. Good. Maybe no one would find her here.

Suki looked back at the little pup. "Um, maybe," she said, looking around her. "How about we try in here." She walked toward a abondoned fire department building. It was old and falling apart, but it would shelter them from the rain.

Grim trotted up to Mako and slid the meat from his neck. He gave his owner a rough growl in greeting.

Jesse looked up in surprise at the black dog. She cowered in the corner. "Pleace don't hurt me," she said.

"Yeah, whatever, kid," Suki said, sitting down.

Grim tore himself off some meat too. He wondered when they were gonna catch scent of that female fighter.

Jesse came out of her corner and sniffled from the cold rain. "Yes, I;m fine," she said.

Suki looked down at Luke unsurely. "Um, yeah, that's not... good," she said.

"Dunno," Grim barked with a shrug. "But I'll find her."

Jess nodded and ducked under the metal covering. "Thank you," she said sweetly.

Suki looked around. What was she supposed to do? "Hey, kid, don't cry," she said urgently.

Grim chuckled evilly.

Jess shook her head, then giggled. "They couldn't catch me," she said.
