I love Redwall and I love Felldoh. He's my favorite all time charrie followed closely by Cheek the Otter (Mattimeo).

I think Martin is a good character, although Rakketty Tam is also on my favorites list (I'm part Scots-Irish, so I feel some ethnic loyalty). I also liked how Cornflower came out in the cartoons. Her demeanor was feminine in the classical sense, but she could take a stand when she had to.

Also, Cornflower (as well as Martin and Rakketty Tam, now that I think of it) was a team player. I hate to dis your favorite character, but on principle I find one fault in Felldoh: he was too preoccupied with revenge and never thought about how his actions effected those he cared about. Yes, wanting to rid the world of such an evil as Badrang was a good thing. And no one can question the honor in trying to free slaves even after his own father was safe. But he never thought about how his actions effected those close to him; his friends, and especially his father, whom he hurt far more deeply than the vermin he slew. It's not right to kill yourself getting revenge, especially when there's a whole group you could work with to accomplish a just cause instead of striking out alone and getting slaughtered.

I agree with Dragon Tamer. That was the one major fault that Feldoh had, and it indeed cost him his life, and hurt his friends. Feldoh, as a character throughout the show, still was one of my favorite characters as well. I do also much like the book Taggerung.

Yeah, it was interesting to see a wildcat as a good guy. His descendant in Redwall was a pretty neat guy too.

My favorite Redwall character is Basil Staghare.
