This is where I recommend bands based on current musical taste. Tell me some of your favorites and I'll recommend a band you'll probably like. Don't worry, no flaming this time.

Here are a few of my most listened to
Linkin Park
311
Lupe Fiasco
muse
Rage against the Machine (which i looked into after seeing how much you enjoy them)
Kanye West
fun list eh? I can't quite give you recommendations on the rappers as I don't listen to much rap. For Muse, I'd say maybe some Radiohead (although I think they're overrated, they're still talented). Linkin Park's use of samplings and keyboards always reminded me of Nine Inch Nails, so check them out if you haven't already. I dislike 311, but if you dig them you need to check out some stuff from Faith No More, early Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sublime (while Sublime are not very gifted musically, they are the ultimate feel-good band) Rage, I can't help you with much because they were probably the only talented rap-metal band, but if you dig Zack's vocals, check out some Beastie Boys. They're more of a hip-hop group, though.

They were labeled with the "grunge" moniker because they hit in the early 90's and came from Seattle, but Sabbath's influence on them is pretty plain to see. AC/DC: not sure Try some Rush or maybe King Crimson if you like Deep Purple. For Iron Maiden, Judas priest is a pretty safe bet. Try some of Clapton's stuff if you're into Hendrix. I'm not really sure about Sweet because I haven't heard enough of their material.

So I'm gonna give this a try: AFI Atreyu My Chemical Romance Green Day 10 Years All That Remians In Flames Papa Roach I don't hate you. You just can't take my Jokes. This one is gonna be tricky. I can't really tell you much because there aren't really many bands I would recommend similar to the ones you posted. However, for ATR and In Flames, try Pantera's later work. Pantera is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. If you're looking for metal in general, though, try Slayer, Death or Sodom. If you also liked Papa roach before they changed their sound out of rap-metal, Rage Against the Machine would be a pretty safe bet. For Green Day, try some early Offspring. I don't think they're that talented as a band, but they're fun.

Huh, well I'll try to take your "jokes" but most of the time I'm just bored and need a good arguement (sorry). I do like The Offspring (especially their "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" but I hate that music video) For the rest: Okay, thanks.

Gave you plenty to work with, I'm in dire need of new music. Try some Slayer Sodom Exhorder Bolt Thrower Napalm Death Kreator Pre-Chaos A.D. Sepultura Down If you're looking for something a little more accessible, try Mastodon. As for Shadowstorm, same for you. I only say this because the only bands in your taste that I noticed could use some improving upon were on the more metallic side (Trivium, etc). Your taste in progressive is exceptional.
