History:Caprica's mother died when she was vary young.Her father had diapered years ago leaving her to fend for her self.She lived on the street until a man who worked at a homeless shelter toke her in and eventually adopted her as his daughter.

Caprica marked the page and shut the book. "Boring as usual, why?" "I have the right to know don't I?" "Yes, but you know the answer already, or do you?" said caprica,smiling mischivusly. Lee smiled at his daughter. She had a fighting spirt and a good heart.

Gender: male
Personality: Extremely protective, somewhat mysterious and cold, he doesn't open up to many, the only acception is Shay, he can be somewhat quiet and only really fully opens up to Shay, he is very polite and can also be considered a gentleman. Dev is different, in more ways than one, he usually doesn't talk to very many people but does love some attention that comes to him, even if he doesn't show it. The trauma of his past has changed him in many ways though, he is more cold and is more quick to snap at someone if they insult him. Most of the time he would like to result to violence and never thinks before he acts.
History: Dev was born a vampire, his mother was very protective over him when he was younger and barley let his older brother Onyx come near Dev. But his mother couldn't keep them apart forever. When Dev was a little bit older and met Onyx for the first time, they became best friends, and his mother realized that she had nothing to worry about, but she was wrong. When Dev was 14 and Onyx was 17 they both fell in love, with another vampire girl named Lilly. She was beautiful and perfect in everyway. She was 15 years old and loved to get attention from both Dev and Onyx. Thats when things started going wrong. Dev and Onyx began fighting over Lilly, Onyx said that since he was older he should get Lilly, but Dev claimed that Lilly liked her more. Outraged, Onyx questioned Lilly and she said that she loved Onyx more than Dev, but she only said that to stop Onyx from being so angry. So Onyx and Lilly ran off together and that tourchered Dev to his very core. He chased and tracked his brother for months and months, determined to get the girl he loved back, but it was impossible. His brother was much faster and smarter than he was, and there was no hope for Dev. Scarred for life, Dev went on a killing rampage, murdering inncocent people and drinking their blood, even though he knew it was against his coven's laws. Obviously he got kicked out of his coven and ran for years *the rest is pretty much explained in the plot. I just touched on his earlier years.* As soon as Dev was sivilized enough to live with people, Dev went back to high school and met Shay, she changed his life.
(I hope you don't mind that I used the same history for Dev...but he's still the same character...sort of )

Roleplay example(minimum four sentences): Dev heard the soft whimper of his mother as the coven leader shouted 'get out of here' Dev turned around and gave her an apologetic look as he finished whiping the rest of blood off his lip. "Mother I'm sorry..." he said shamefully, only to get smacked in the face by the leader. "Don't you dare talk to her..." he snarled as Dev narrowed his eyes, baring his pointed teeth. For a moment Dev felt the urge to kill the leader, but that would only cause more trouble. Dev turned to face the rest of his coven, looking for at least one look of comfort, one person that felt bad for him. But there was nothing. This drove Dev mad. "The only reason I did it is because of my stupid brother!" he yelled, snapping everyone's attention toward him. "Yeah that's right! And I can't take this place any more! I'm sick of it! And it's all your fault!" he said, directing his comment to everyone. And with that Dev took off, leaving his coven behind. He was the fastest one in his coven so it was easy for him to get away. He crashed through the trees and didn't stop, he felt as if he would never stop running, as if he didn't belong anywhere...

Dev crouched in the bushes just outside of the school. He glanced up at the clock outside the school. 7:30, he knew it was early but as he emerged from the bushes he walked from the bushes to the front door. As soon as he opened the door, all the heads turned to look at his direction. Dev didn't make eye contact with anyone but instead walke to the office. He opened the door and approached the woman at the desk. "Hi..." he said in a smooth, sweet voice. "I'm Deveron Black. I'm the new student..." he said. The woman gulped and stared at him longer than she should have and then gave him his class scehdual. "Thank you..." he said and gave her a breaktaking smile as he turned, leaving the office.

Dev looked at his locker combonation and began walking towards his locker. He glanced up and say a cute girl staring at him. Ebarassed, he looked away but noticed his locker was right next to her. He offered her a crooked smile and began twisting the number lock, punching in all his numbers. "Hi..." he said awkwardly to her...feeling that he couldn't stop staring.

Dev looked up from his locker, a smile forming on his lips. "I'm De-" his own words were cut off in his mouth as he finally got a good look at Shay. "Lilly?" he couldn't help but ask. This girl looked exactly like Lilly, the girl that his brother stole from him. Then her scent hit him like a wrecking ball, Dev staggered back, barley able to resist the urge to drink her blood right then and there.
