In the current PM system (on the forums that is), there is no way to forward messages either to a moderator or to another member. Nor is there a way, that I can find, to REPORT a PM to a moderator. Such features would alleviate substantial frustration in having to copy and paste information from an old PM into a new one (for whatever purpose that might be).
Thoughts? Can this be done?

I'm doing as few modifications on the forum codes as possible, because this leads to much trouble when updating to a newer version. So if there is no option to report a PM, then I'll wait until it's officially possible in the next phpBB versions. However, reporting PMs is possible on the site; forwarding is in the TODO list.

Now, as steet said, he cant do much to edit the forum code, as it becomes a total fail.
HOWEVER, I - Because i'm fantastic will suggest this to the phpBB team themselves, for when version 3.0.5 is released.
On the other hand - There is a setting in "Permissions" so that Members can forward PM's.

Well, that's strange but yes : that permission wasn't enabled by default. (don't understand why this would be a "threat" though...) I have made the change, tell me if it still doesn't work.

(I can confirm I have suggested this to the phpBB team - http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 516315&e=0)
