Alright, there is no word if Nickolodeon is actually going to make this, I just posted this to discuss what you'd like it to be if they made it. I personally think it would be an awsome idea because it was one of the best shows Nick has ever had and is still probably pretty popular. Alright, here's the questions I'd like your opinion on. I'm also going to post a roleplay on this as well.

Cast ideas:
Should it be connected to the original series or be a reboot:
How many of his powers should Danny get (if you want it to be the second option in the previous question):
Should it be open for a sequal:
Who should the villian(s) be:

Cast ideas: Don't have any, I don't keep track of actors. I do think the guy that played Cookie on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide would be a good Tucker.
Should it be connected to the original series or be a reboot: Reboot, I think the original ended the way it should and filled in all the loose ends so a Reboot would be for the best.
How many of his powers should Danny get: I think up to his Ecto Ray
Should it be open for a sequal: Yes
Who should the villian(s) be: In my opinion, I'd save Vlad Masters for a sequal, I'd like to have Skulker as the villian, I love his character and I think if done right would look awsome in live action

Depends on how well they did it. To name an example, I saw Ben 10: Race Against Time (another live-action film based on an animated series) and heavily disliked it as opposed to the cartoons. The combat was too Power Rangers, the voices were off, and I'd say it blundered on a few plot essentials that threw off the canon, to name a few of the difficulties. If a Danny Phantom movie could be made that avoided these faults, it might or might not be enjoyable.

I agree, it would depend on whose involved. The right director is the biggest problem in my mind, Nick already has a lot of good actors and Buch Hartman could just come back to write the script. Alright, what do you guys think about the things I posted to discuss?

Cast ideas: I dunno. I'm not much on actors.
Should it be connected to the original series or be a reboot: I've never been a fan of rewrites, so I'm voting for something tied to the original series (unless they had something with him going back to when it all started, somehow).
Should it be open for a sequal: Most of the events that would prevent a sequel would be a bad idea in my book, but I'm open to ideas.
Who should the villian(s) be: As long as the villain's creative, I could see (or not see) just about anything.

You make good points. I think it would all come down to how it was done, that's how all things go. I think as long as Butch Hartman was involved, it'd be ok, seeing how Danny Phantom is his creation.
