This is probably my favorite 3D animated movie. I have never really liked any Pixar one, because I always find them boring. Maybe I liked the Shrek better because they are of a different kind, and does not try to "copy" the kind of stories of the 2D classical animated movies. I also think that it was incredibly much better than the first one, it made me laugh from the beginning to the end.
But I wouldn't compare any 3D animated movie to 2D ones.
2D forever

I really enjoyed them both. They aren't geared at little kids either, anyone of any age can enjoy them. :D

It's the #1 comedy and animated movie of the year last year. I thought it was too funny. I love Puss but I still like Donkey. :)

Mmm, Kodi, this is the typical type of post I don't want to see on this forum. Sorry for being rude, but I want messages with sentences, not just a smiley... A forum is made to express your opinions. Smileys are only there to show your feelings

I like Shrek 1 better, but I like Shrek 2 coz of Puss in boots, coz Antonio Banderas is awesum. One thing I don't get is that Far Far Away kingdom - I've never actually heard such a thing! maybe I just don't read enough fairy tale stories.

Puss in Boots was a good idea for the story it really showed how everyone felt about the felines.

Is there going to be a Shrek 3?

Yeah, it's supposed to be something about King Arthur. I don't know how they are going to manage this one. :? The premise sounds funny, but a little overused.
