Heya! Well, my favourite character has been getting lonely recently and I thought, it's about time he had a mate. And that's where you guys come in. 8D I really do love this character. He has many aspects of my own personality, aswell as lots of things I'd like to have.

What I'm Looking For...I really would like a girl with a colourful, unique personality like Kyser's. No entries that just tick the boxes, ok? And I would prefer a charrie that's ALREADY been created, but I don't mind new ones, as long as you LET THOSE CREATIVE VIBES FLOW!

Hmm, you know Maria from my roleplay..? Well, if she loses in another contest, I'll enter her =) because she's a tough girl that can look after herself and Kyser and very protective, but very sweet-hearted. So, you never know, but it may be a while if I know if she's won the other contest or not. If not, then sorry, lol. But then I might dig through the character bin =)

Personality: Laury~le loves to have fun and do things shes not supposed to which equals trouble. Sometimes to can get out of control or obsessed or extremely mad but loves life and tries to live it to its fullest. 'If someone else can do something...I can too' is basically what she thinks.
If someone doesn't like her, let them, she doesn't care what you think about her as long as shes herself.
History: Laury was born to a small family in California. She was always eager to romp and and play like she didn't give a care in the world about anything. Then... tragedy happened and the mother and daughter of the family died. The mother from a horrible disease and the daughter killed when a criminal broke into her school and killed some students, her being one of them. The father had just got fired from his job a few days ago and he couldn't afford Laury~Le any longer, so the only thing he could do was sell her to a man in Chicago. She lived a happy life there until the man went into a retirement home only 2 years after he bought Laury. She was then sold to a large family wherever Kyser is now and has taken a liking to him. Shes still very sad about how her first owners died but doesn't let that stop her from living.

I dropped out of the other contest, I didn't want to but Kyser was too perfect for my darling. It's like they were literally made for each other. Here I go...

Name: Maria
Gender: Female
Age (When She Meets Kyser): 2 years, 11 months
Breed: Alaskan Malamute
Parents: Unknown (breeder's)
Personality:Maria is a bright girl and has a definite motherly instinct about her. She's very protective of those she loves, and would risk her own life to save the life of a loved one. She's not incredibly selfless though, she is very protective of her 'territory' and possessions. She's friendly to strangers, but doesn't really give them a second thought unless they show interest in her, or there is something about them that stands out.
Likes: Her bunny, Saba, the days between winter and spring, daytime, watching sledding races.
Hates: She doesn't hate flirty girls unless they don't actually have feelings for the guy their flirting with, she more hates the attention-seeking type that do things just to be noticed by guys. She hates ice, but loves snow.
Fears: Losing her loved ones (again), falling for the wrong guy (again).
History: Maria was the first dog owned by a happy family living in Nome. She didn't possess the greatest athletic ability but was a very friendly dog and especially great with the children of the household. About a year later, they got another dog, a Husky X Wolf hybrid named Saba. Maria became her best friend and big-sister figure. After a few months, Saba left because of how great of a sled-dog she was and went to a contest in southern Canada. While she was gone, Maria fell in love with Saba's wild brother Rogue. They secretly had pups together, but Maria didn't want them to be a secret anymore. She and Rogue wanted different things. Maria wanted them to find human dogs and to be proud of them and do a little boasting about them, but Rogue wanted them to live wild in the forest like him. Maria fought Rogue and nearly broke his leg, then exposed the puppies to her humans. Later that night, Rogue killed the pups, not wanting for them to have a life in captivity. Since then, Maria wants to be the same person she was before the incident, but she has trouble opening up to anyone now.
Other: She has a toy plush bunny that her owners bought for her as a puppy, and she sleeps with it at night and chews on it for comfort.
How She Met Kyser: (This should work as long as Kyser lives in Nome)

Maria wandered through the streets of Nome, feeling incredibly lonely. About a month ago, her mate had left her and killed their pups, and about month or two before that her best friends and 'little sister' Saba had gone to Canada. Her friends Dusty and Kodi were on a mail run and her humans were visiting friends in the next town, friends who owned rowdy, vicious dogs. So Maria was all alone, and being locked out of her house she couldn't even chew her bunny for comfort.

She looked up as she heard the voice of a Scotch Collie as she and two other females circled a young greyhound. "So what's your name?" said the Collie, Laura.
"Kyser!" he said perkily, and the three dogs laughed at his enthusiasm. Kyser's tail slowed a bit with confusion at this. "Aww, look at this adorable thing on his collar!" barked one of the other females, and they all laughed again.
"Say Kyser, do you have girlfriend..?" said Laura again, almost tauntingly, but Kyser didn't seem to notice.
"Huh?" Kyser said.
"Do you know what that is?"
"Yeah, I just-" Kyser knew what they meant, he was just confused about how they were acting, but he was interrupted by a loud, voice.

"Hey, Laura, Latisha, and whoever the hell you are, back off!" Maria said, growling as she ran to where they were standing, and snapped at them.
"Maria, settle down. I know you've been through a lot recently, but come on, those pups weren't THAT cute." laughed Laura, and while Latisha knew that that was a bit harsh of comment and looked away, the other dog laughed hysterically. When Maria did nothing but snarl and give them a stone cold glare, they knew that they had said too much, and backed away, before turning around and running off.

Maria turned back to greyhound, who looked rather frightened. Maria's face turned soft instantly.
"I'm sorry, about that. They're just... mean dogs, you should stay away from them. So your name's Kyser? I'm Maria. Are you new here? I haven't seen you around before." She said, and Kyser brightened up again.
"Yeah, sort of. You know, your teeth are really white, it's kind of pretty." Kyser said with a smile, and Maria laughed, for the first time in about a month.
"Aw, thank you! That's so sweet. Come on, I'll show you around." Maria said with a smile and she began to walk and Kyser followed her closely.
"By the way, that's a really cute tag on your collar."

Maria showed him around the town, showed him the boiler room, the beach, the mail centre (where she introduced him to Kodi and Dusty) and finished it off by walking him to his own house, where she met Tom. After chatting briefly with the older dog, she gave Kyser a lick on the cheek before she walked home to her empty back yard.

Why Should She Be Kyser's Mate: Because come on, they're made for each other. Look Maria's a tough, motherly girl who's recently had her heart torn out (not literally of course) and KLyser's that perky little scamp that can make her trust and love again. And besides, there are not enough original characters in the BS universe. Also, lately at school there has been some sort of inside joke with me and my friends about PacMan. And if that's not a sign, then I don't know what is.



PHEW, there it is. That took forever, but it was worth it. Lol. I hope I captured Kyser's personality. I think it's a bit of reverse-role where the girl stands up for the guy being picked on instead. Anyway, I'll probably render them together soon or something. I'll give the link to Maria's character page:

I rendered your little cutie, but I think I got markings wrong. I also messed up the collar because I couldn't be bothered trying to write with a mouse on that angle. Or to draw a rainbow.

personality: simply fun-loving and happy ALL the time. its hard [url]not[/url] to smile and be happy when you are with her.
She is accepting of everyone and is very fair.
She is a social girl and likes to be around people.
She is such a day dreamer that she gets in her own little world. people sometimes tease her for that but she shrugs it off. (thats one way she likes Kyser because he is a fellow dreamer and can understand her)
When you are with her, you know you can be yourself because she loves you for who you are.
She is quite a peace-maker and can make the most angry person calm down.
If she ever sees anyone getting bullied, she sticks up for them but tries not to fight physically unless she really has to.
She loves to be active, but sometimes she can sit still and think very deep thoughts kind of like a philosopher.
sometimes she can be randomly hyper. She loves puppies and children and wishes she had pups of her own.

history: was a active tiny puppy when Mr.Sunshine first saw her. he adopted her and took her home. Instead of getting very big, Hippie grew to be a smallish-medium sized dog. The two got along very well and were never seen apart. Hippie learned all about peace from Mr.Sunshine, (who is a hippie) and is very proud of her name. Once while her owner was painting his VW van he knocked over some cans of paint and they fell on poor Hippie D8 Hippie was covered in paint. her owner quickly tried to get most of the paint out. Some of it stayed which would account for some of her strange colors on her legs xD

other: has an old metal peace sign tied to a string around her neck. She has a painted peace sign on her shoulder *two finger peace sign* the tips of her toes are colorful, (she stepped in paint cans and got some of it on her toes. xD
why she wants Kyser/Juno as a mate: Because they are SO perfect together their personalities are alike and they would get along together ^^ (plus they would have such cute puppehs x) ) Another reason is because they both live in their own little worlds and they would understand each other

If she and Kyser become mates, I have an idea for a girl pup. Her name is Tetris/Tetra. Do you want me to post her with like a bio and stuff? This is if they become a couple...

Hippie is the name. Now some of you might ask.. "Hippie? What kind of a name for a dog is that?" Well... my owner is a hippie. I don't know his real name.. so I just call him Mr. Sunshine, cuz he always smiles, no matter what.
Anywho..as I was saying, Mr.Sunshine and I used to travel across the U.S in his totally colorful VW Van. After a while he told me (yes he talks to me) that it was time to find a real house to live in.
Thats how I got here ^^
I jump out of his van, barking and running around. Being in a van can tighten your muscles, its good to stretch. What was I saying?... Oh yea... okay... Mr.Sunshine walks up to me and pats me on the head.
"Atta girl! Get your daily dose of exercise."
I bark in reply and sniff around our new home. Hmm (*sniff sniff*) cats, squirrels, oh! a raccoon! Maybe a little bit of deer... Hey! another dog! (*sniff sniff*) male.. shy...sweet.. oh... (*sniff*) he's right behind me! I turn around and see a cute male standing behind me looking at me curiously.
"Hi there!" I said and I smile at him.
He smiles back at me "Who are you?" he asks.
"I"m Hippie" ^^
"You're a what?"
"No "Hippie" you know a peace loving person?"
"Oh okay I'm Kyser... Are you going to live here?"
"Yea where do you live?"
"across the street.."
"Wow cool!" I yip. "We are gonna be neighbors!"
I look down and it was then i noticed his collar. Its pretty cute too.
"Wow man I love your collar," i gush.
"Oh thanks.." he blushes and looks down. "Its pac-man, I like your collar too, but what is it?"
I laugh, "Its a peace symbol. My owner Mr.Sunshine gave it to me."
"Mr.Sunshine?"
"I'll introduce you two! Come on!" I wait for him to follow me. Mr.Sunshine sees me and Kyser.
"Heya Hippie! What do you have there?"
"This is Kyser!" I yip.
Kyser gives me a puzzled look. "You talk to him?"
I nod. "Yea I know it sounds strange but he understands me, he's a nice guy too. Go ahead, say something to him."
