Almost nobody has a moose or Carbiou char, and you CAN make on on the original site, so I made this, If you want to make a topic like this, please say "Idea by Zasha10" and preferably, give a link, but you don't have too. One more thing, I will not cross out or mark any of the animals out, so MAKE SURE you see that NOBODY HAS ALLREADY ADOPTED IT!

If you want to render it from "Bami" or somthing, go ahead.

CANNOT BE ADOPTED FOR A MEAL FOR WOLVES! Once you adopt them, they cannot be killed and eaten by wolves, unless they have lived a long life, and you have written a fanfic about them.


ALL CARIBOU HAVE ANTLERS!
Tame Caribou are called "Rein deer" and that's why Vixen and all the female reindeer have antlers on Santa's sliegh.

Interesting topic...I might adopt one for Milo's herd or something. Anyways, if all caribou have antlers(which they do), then don't you think it'd be a good idea to, oh, I don't know, draw the antlers on them? ;]

You get him, and WWM, these are only babies, or foals or whatever they're called, they havn't grown antlers yet ^^.

Sorry I just want to correct a few things not trying to seem rude but I acctually have a pet reindeer and I also have a character who is a reindeer... first off Kaz they have antlers not horns... horns are permanent like what cows, rhinos, and sheep/goats have and the deer family have antlers ^^
second reindeer are not the tame species which many people belive and call them due to commercial resons, they acctually are just from the European Region and are slightly smaller than Caribou which are in North America. Also others may question then why does Xcavin(my reindeer character) live in Alaska. Well because long before scientists released some reindeer herds into the Alaska/ Canadian regions. Most herds died out but few survived. Xcavin is one of the only full reindeer in his herd.
Third the deer families young are called fawns (whitetail,blacktail, muledeer, red Stags, etc... and are called calves for Elk, Moose, and Reindeer/Caribou.)
And please make note that Caribou/Reindeer live in herds and migrate 2 times a year when the seasons change.
