I have to sing a song for choir in school, and I want to know if it sounds Hawaiian or African. Here are the first couple of measures...
Mangwani m'pu lele, kenelwaki tu la. Le hale mu la, le hale mu le, kenelwaki tu la.
(Pronounced mangwani moo lay lay, key nel waki too la. Lay ha lay moo la, lay ha lay moo lay, key nel waki too la) It's a Zulu folksong and I want to know what it sounds like. I also want to know if you have played this or have to sing it. Tell me what this sounds like! It's pretty fun to sing, really.

It's Zulu, which is a a tribe in South Africa (the country) but I just wanted to know what it sounded like to poeple. Keep posting, and if you had to sing it, tell me if you has soprano, alto, middle, what you had to do. I'm a soprano (higher part) and I go to the middle at the end, the first altos (lower) took the ending, but I finished the song soprano. It's pretty fun to sing!

I know it's Zuku, but I Just wanted to see what it sounds more like, not it's orgin. I IS Zulu, but does it sound more Zulu or Hawaiian. I personaly thought it it sounded Hawaiian myself.
