Alright, well considering a lot of people have expressed some sort of interest in the way I design characters, and Adi already asked me to design the wolf form of her Werewolf character Lekemiron, I figured I'd open up a character design request topic. Here are some examples of my work (click the names to view profiles/designs):

Rules

Like everyone else, I have some rules you need to follow when making a request.

1. The character must be yours! Please don't ask me to design someone else's character, or a rip-off of someone else's character.
2. The character must already exist. What I mean by this is, unless you've already pretty well formulated your character in your mind, what he or she is like at the very least personality wise, don't ask me to design your character. I'm not here to make your character for you, I'm just here to help you figure out what you want him/her to look like ^.^
3. I only work with linearts in traditional media, because I'm not wonderful with anatomy. I will use linearts and I will do renders in digital media, as soon as I can get some examples up. Please don't ask for a digital design until then.
4. Please give credit to me for the design.
5. Use my bio form(s), so I can get a general idea of who and what your character is and how you want it to look.
6. Please have a general idea of what you want your character to look like, or at the very least a main color. It makes my job a lot easier and decreases the time it takes to get a design to you.
7. I have the right to reject any request I feel is not submitted correctly, or if I believe it sounds too complicated.
8. I only take three requests at a time, for my sanity. If the three slots are filled below, please wait to ask. If I don't respond and tell you that I will take your request, then you've done something wrong. Please go back and read over all of this again and then pm me. I'll pm you back and let you know what's up (usually it will just be because I'm busy and all of the slots are filed.)
9. I will take requests for wolves, dogs, and cats at the moment. I will take requests for other species later, but of course you must provide lineart and screenshots (make sure you are allowed to use them!)
10. Please limit the number of mostly black characters for the moment. I'm running out of black colored pencil T.T

When Maura was born, she had light blue markings. Her pack banned her for that reason, thinking she was some kind of strange monster. She traveled alone, until one day she ran into a wolf named Ace. He helped her and fed her, because she was only skin and bones. He taught her how to hunt and defend herself. One day he left, and didn't come back. He couldn't bare to be away from her, so he came back, and now they are mates.

Yeah, that's what it meant. Though it's an optional field. People I roleplay with often come up with interesting/unique scents for their wolves. So, you wanted the lineart in traditional media (colored pencils, XD) I'm guessing? Do you have any preference on which lineart I use?

And yes, colored pencil please! I really don't care what lineart you use, but I do prefer Kay Fedewa's.

Sorry it's taken so long to post this! I've had the sketch done, I've just not had time to upload it since I've been bombarded with tests and papers these last couple of weeks. But here's a preliminary sketch. I was thinking the the light blue would go where all of the really light grays are, and the real gray on her rump is the darker gray at the moment. I just wanted your opinion before I colored it. Let me know if you would like anything to be changed!

Oh! I love that! I like the hearts everywhere, but I think I only want one heart around her eye, but I'm not sure! Whatever is easiest for you! I love the spots on her back and rump! She's so cute! Thank you sooooo much! I can't wait to see her colored!

Alright. I re-did the design a little bit and colored in both versions, that way you'd have something to compare it to. As before, if you have any issues with it, just let me know and I'll fix them .

Meaning: "Heart" in Japanese
Nickname/Alias(es): Heart
Nickname Meaning: It simply means heart
Race/Species: Rough Collie
Gender: Female
Age: 3 1/2
Scent: Umm...Roses
Personality/Temperament: Omoi is very locked up to herself. She lets very few people talk to her, by that she gets a reputation that she is stuck up and mean. She is shy, but talkative when you give her the chance. She can get moody at times. Omoi has a generous personality, and most people describe her as "angelic" because of her personality. She daydreams often, and will sit for hours staring up at the clouds. She finds things to do to pass time, which are small things like, cleaning herself, chewing on her bone, and other things.
Powers/Special Abilities: None. She's just a regular city dog

Eye Color:Steel blue
Scars: One on her left lower arm
Markings: She has the regular marking of a rough collie, except for small light brown dots on her lower back and ears. She has white paws, belly, chest, and ring of wite fur wrapping around her broad neck

Very Brief Backstory (Include all important details): Omoi was born in the small basement of her owner's house on the rainy night of December 5, 2005. Her mother, a full bred Rough collie, whose fur was white, groomed her all that cold, ark, and eerye night. Omoi fought death that night....For, she was the only pup, but weak at that. Her father didn't take place in this event, because he had died while getting food for her after he mated with her. Omoi's first months were easy, and calm, until her mother had died of stress. Omoi cried for her mother to come back, but she didnt fully understand what was wrong with her. Her mother' sowner took her in, and cared for her just like her mother had. Omoi met Rye while on a midnight stroll. She saw him fighting with a large doberman. He was near death, struggling to live, when Omoi came and stopped it. The big doberman had stratched her on her front left leg, leaving a small scar. She had made a deal with him, which he approved and left. She picked Rye up, and took him to her house, where her owners took care of him, but didn't take him in. She has been in love with him ever since, and plan to have pups with him.

I love the changes that you made! She's sooooo cute! ((sorry if I was being annoying saying there were too many hearts...)) I will definately put her in my fanfic, and I might have you draw more of my characters! Thank you sooooo much!

Very Brief Backstory (Include all important details): He was born to a dog from Egypt and a dog from England. His mother was very child-like mentally and the family relied of Gyp to teach the pups due to Katrina not really being mature enough to do so. His mother is bubbly and cheerful and his dad is calm and wise. He grew up as the naughty pup, always getting into trouble and making a mess of everything. He believed himself to be superior to others. He showed off all the time and picked a fight with another, much larger, dog at one point. The dog attacked him, leaving scars across his muzzle. Later, he bragged that he could defeat a bear but when he went into the forest and came close to a half-grown bear, he ran and sliced his leg against a sharp branch. He still hasn't learnt his lesson yet though...
