The Rise of RiverClan (between me and Tadie)

Ok, I'll start then. (this is my first RP, so I hope you like it Aleu)

Jayleaf padded out of the RiverClan camp. A light rain fell from the cloudy sky above. She needed a moment to be away from the Clan, even Reedwhisker, the cat she loved. She reflected on the Gathering that had taken place just the other night. It was a real shocker that Onestar had gone missing out of WindClan. What did that mean? Would Leopardstar be next? The spotted leader was already down quite a few lives due to a sickness unknown even to Mothwing and Willowshine.

Rippletail was in the forest, his tail dipped into a bubbling river, that tail getting wet and socked. He liked to feel of it though, and never wanted to take it out. But he soon did, wanting to bring the sparrow he ahd caught to the elders. He liked giving them food, even though it was usually an apprentice chose. But the elders were to old to catch there own prey, unless they got a great boost of energy. The apprentices these days never caught much, anyway.

Jayleaf sniffed. There was another cat nearby. Was it Reedwhisker? No, it was Rippletail. He was moving closer. What if he noticed her there? Jayleaf wasn't supposed to be out of camp. She nimbly scooted away from her approaching Clanmate, hoping he hadn't noticed her.

Rippletail flicked his ears. Did he hear someone? He caught a flash of a gray pelt scooting by.. He narrowed his eyes and approched the she-cat. He mowed, "Jayleaf, aren't you suppose to be at camp??" The grey tom-cat asked.

"Mouse-dung!" Jayleaf thought irritably. Then she meowed, "Er....enjoying the rain? We haven't had some in a while, so yeah...uh..." She groan inwardly, hoping Rippletail didn't notice she was lying. She tried to make a quick exit towards camp.
