Hey, the movie didn't win Best Picture at the Oscars for no reason!

Although that's hard to say, coming from someone who hasn't seen it, yet, but still, knowing the premise of it, it's a great movie.

Who else has seen it, and what do you think?

I really wanna see it! Looks sooo good!

I wonder what it's going to be like- because it sounds like one of those movies that can be really happy and really sad at the same time :|

I saw the movie and can honestly say I hated it. I thought they took a real, complicated issue, completely undermined it, and turned it into a fairy tale with a two hour gap where character development should have been.

As far as I'm concerned, that oscar belonged to Frost/Nixon. And the fact that The Wrestler wasn't even nominated for best picture robs the academy of all credibility.

Well, I haven't seen it and I don't really plan to go out of my way to.

I'm a little mad 'cause it won way too many oscars(there should be a limit for a movie so others can win too). I've only heard positive things about it(with the exception of RB) and my AP environmental science teacher really wants my class to see it so I just might someday.

It was sad and happy at the same time. I really really liked it. It was a love story that wasn't overly mushy and it just was completely heart-filled. I think the reason it won so many oscars is because there were actors in it with NO previous experience before. They just went to India and went to a school and asked some kids if they wanted to be in a movie and they said yes and were casted within a day I believe. The youngest versions of Latika and Jamal were real slum kids, and are being moved into an apartment soon I guess. For having no experience at all they did more amazing than most actors with years of experience. I really think its one of the best movies Ive seen and really wish all the cast the best for the future because they all really deserve it.

I've just seen it few days ago. Honestly, it's a brilliant movie, it really deserved the oscar.
The acting, the music, everything is amazing. Sad, deep and even funny and cute at times.
