I had this happen to me before, I was ticked off. The person pouted and said 'Oh.'
I only RP with people who I think are good, so I guess that person was offended, but that was so random. And I don't usally RP wolves and dogs anyway.

If you're meaning in the RP box then there's nothing wrong with people joining in.
It's a public RP box and anyone can join or leave at any time, if you want to RP privately then there's the Private RP boards, instant messagers or off-site chat boxes.

If you're meaning in the normal RP boards - again, nothing wrong with it really. Anyone can join one but it would be considered bad manners (against the rules? I don't know D: The RP mods will though) to just join one without reading the entire first post and first being accepted by the RP creator.

If you're meaning in the Private RP boards and said person is not in the RP then reporting it to an RP mod would solve the problem.

In a couple of RPs I was in people would occasionally just start either posting out of nowhere or they would ask to join and in the same post start posting so I think it's just a lack of common sense rather than simply having bad manners(though I won't deny that can be a part of it).

Agree with UK about the RP shoutbox, but here's the thing; you post your bio, you wait for the rp creator to say "accepted! " you wait for the first post then you start. If no-one says "accepted" or anything, then you could ask "Am I part of this RP?" it's possible that they missed your post, or they may have ignored it if you didn't comply with the rules. Don't just join uninvited. Obviously with Private RP's it's a no-brainer; don't join unless you were specifically invited!

What UK said. If it's a public rp in the box, people can join you. And, if for some reason you just really don't want to rp with them, there's something you can do about it. It's called ignoring them, and telling them you'd rather not rp with them in an unoffensive way.

If it's on the board and you don't want them to join, or they haven't joined properly, tell them to go back and read your rules. If they continue to not follow the rules, report the post and I'll take care of it (both by pming the person and then proceeding to delete their posts if they continue to disregard the warnings.)
