The meaning of "Fido"

I think that the meaning for the term "fido" means loyal. Funny thing: I actually got it from Balto #1! :mrgreen:

. The last words on the statue in Grand Cenrtal Park are: Endurance-Fidelity-Inteligence. "Fidel" is loyal in latin :shock:

! I guess thats the reason why we use it.

It means "I am faithful" in Latin.
