Wow, it didn't even bother ya that like half the topics on the rant board are about stuff like this and other things that won't ever get resolved.

Topic reported for being totally redundant.

Keep in mind that rants about personal conflicts (or moving on to personal conflicts later on in a ranting topic) is against the rules of this website.

I agree this rant is redundant (there must be three-four rants over two pages here about the same thing), but I'm not going to lock it. That is, unless it evolves into just an argument over a personal conflict.

Well... report them when you see that to Togo or Steet. Then if they really were in the wrong, highly, they might get demoded or something. Really... both logical and easy. =\

People should only get one warning after doing something against the rules and if they do it again they get banned... that would be MUCH better!

Err, no. That would be too strict. We all ready have a new system - warn twice then you're out for at least a week. One warning and a ban is ridiculous. Especially if it's for something like SMS ; against the rules, yes - Deserves a ban after one warning, no.

But the report button is there for a reason. When you see things like that happening, report it and a mod will take care of it. And you really make it sound like a mod has to be on 24/7. Which is not right. We have a life outside the computer. Since many of us are older, we have jobs and actually enjoy going out with our friends. I know for a fact there's at least two mods that can't come on much right now because of personal reasons. But they do their job most of the time and are good mods.

Maybe we need another ShoutBox mod or two to replace one of the more inactive ones. But I don't think deleting them is entirely the only way to "solve" the problem, because they way I see it, 99.9% of the members who argue all the time in the ShoutBox wouldn't be mature enough to link the deletion of their beloved box with the fact that they were always too childish to not fight and take it to the PM system.

Well, then you probably need to resolve that privately...somehow. Perhaps with a moderator as a mediator. But, while I am definitely neutral, I can't deny that your response to his post was a bit on the heavy-handed side. In actuality, it might be best for both of you to avoid each others' posts while this mutual hostility exists...because bringing it into a topic (no matter how subtle or direct it is, and no matter who is the aggressor) only invites bigger problems.

Hey, I have every right to post on a topic WolfWhisperer and if ya have some huge problem with me then lets talk it over more privately in PMs 'cause I don't know why y'are so hostile towards me.

I'm just saying that there are tons of topics like this on the rant board and I don't see why we need another one like them. While I do want this problem resolved I have yet to see any of the other topics actually find a solution. Maybe this one will and maybe it won't but if the past is any guide to the future then chances are this topic won't accomplish much which is why I reported it.

Why do you interpret what I said as being "hostile" to you? Did I not say that I was neutral in this? Did I not say that I felt that WolfWhisperer came down a little strong in her response to your post? It's not even a huge problem for me...I just was trying to diffuse the thing before it got worse.

Look, don't allow your tension over your differences with WolfWhisperer lead you into a rash and erroneous judgment about the actual context of what I said. I am not hostile to you at all.

Sheesh... :|

I was talking to WolfWhisperer and not to ya. Sorry if it came across that way but I don't mean ya any ill will okay? It even said in my quote that I was referring to WW and not ya.

That's fine, whitewolf. Your post, however, made it look like you were talking to me, as you also quoted something I said. No problem.

I didn't mean to add your quote(it was an accident). I only intended to add WW's quote.

Now, lets get back on topic
