Roland growled to himself, at least he'd taken the blow form his stepdad instead of his little sister, Shiloh. He shook his head, and knocked on Shay's door with his good hand, his right arm against his chest, his left eye swollen shut and black. She'd help him.

He shrugged. "Dad again." He walked inside. "You got a cast? Cuz I don't." He couldn't move his arm. He was pretty sure it was broken.

He jumped backwards. "Eh. Me? I look like Mom." He shrugged. "Black hair, orange eyes.. Can I stay tonight, Shay? I sent Shiloh to a firend's house." He muttered.

"No." He said sternly.

"She's safe." He said.

"Shay. I'm just exhausted.." He murmered.

He fell backwards onto the couch and fell asleep almost instantly.

Roland woke up when he turned over laying on his broken arm. "O,w ow, Ow, Ow, sh*t, Ow." He stood up.
