Hello everyone, I hope this is the right place for me to do this without breaking any rules or anything, ^_^". I just wanted to make a topic about the Balto music I am/have made. I decided the other day that I am going to try to create a Balto album! I'm not sure how long it'll be or how many tracks, but I think I'm aiming for a 6 track EP at the moment. Possibly more, and I doubt any less =3. For the type of music I create, you can just pretty much expect anything, ^^. The album I just completed last month has 12 songs with each track a different genre, ranging from Ska Punk to Acoustic, Trash Metal to Latin/Island. It's all whatever I'm into or feeling at the moment, <3. So far, I only have one song completed for the album titled Snowblind. I was inspired completely off of the moment in Balto where he howl's with the white wolf Aniu. I always get shivers down my spine during that part, =D. This is an orchestral song by the way. Mainly just piano and strings really. SnowblindI hope you guys enjoy this. It's you guys here that drove me to the idea of creating a Balto album! -Blur

Marine310 wrote: That's pretty good. Although I don't know if you meant to create something totally new or to create something to replace "Heritage of the Wolf." If you meant to replace it, I personally don't think "Snowblind" is dramatic enough. However, if you were just creating something completely inspired by it (And not for use in that part) then yes, it's very good indeed. Maybe a tad short, and there's room for some more instruments IMO, but overall, a good start. Thanks, =D. And no, I wasn't meaning to make something to replace it. I can't top something with that large of a magnitude of awesome, XD. I was just kind of messing around on GarageBand on President's Day. After I got a little into it, it seemed to remind me a little of that scene, so I just went with it, ^^. I do need to make it longer though, I'm just kinda stuck. Plus, I can't think of any other good instruments to go with it without cluttering it up. I'll still work at it though, =D! -Blur

Marine310 wrote: Slow down a bit on the piano, or keyboard. It seems to go too quickly. If you slow it down a bit, I'm sure it'll have a bit more dramatic. As for other instruments, a touch (And I mean a TOUCH) of acoustic guitar. That's a good idea. I've been meaning to slow the piano down since it seems really fast (especially in the beginning). I like the idea of an acoustic though. I have a 12-string as well, which one would you think would sound better? -Blur

Alright, so I slowed the tempo down by 20 (120 -> 100), added an acoustic guitar, reverb to make it more atmospheric, and a VERY tiny section of very simple electric guitar to add some climax to it, =3. I added just a small section at the end as well. I didn't really want to add to much to the song; I kind of just want to keep it short, simple, and sweet in a way, =D. SnowblindThanks for all the help dude, your suggestions really made a difference I think, <3. -Blur

Thanks Marine310! Couldn't have done it without ya, XD. As for the last two notes, I would fix it at the moment, but I gotta get off soon. Maybe tomorrow, =3. Plus, I'm making a video at the moment for it to go along too. I just put this song under the clip in Balto that I was inspired from, ^^". Glad you liked it though, =P. -Blur EDIT: Got the video done too, =D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6VVgDl47gU

Don't worry, I got it, XD. -Blur EDIT: I'll just edit since it's bad to double post, ^^". UPDATE!Well thanks for all the responses guys, =D. But yes, I'll make it clear that this isn't about the band Blur, XD. As for the update, I actually need your guys' help on this one, ^^". It's nothing much, I just need you to choose which introduction to my next song is what you like most. This is all for my new and exciting Balto EP album (EP meaning extended-play, aka about the size of half a full album. I'm shooting for 7 songs). Please note that the song is titled Northern Lights and only one of the intros mentions the Northern Lights. Please just don't choose that one because it says "har Northern Lights" in it, choose which clip you like best or sounds best, =3. This is going to be a sort of "love song" between Balto and Jenna (I'm lame, leave me alone, DX), so that might help in your decision, ^^. I already have my vote on the first one I think. I like them all though, so this is where I need you guys, XD. (Also, ignore screw ups like the cymbal hit in the beginning of the first one. I'm going for how well the intro matches the part after, <3) Northern Lights Intro 1Northern Lights Intro 2Northern Lights Intro 3 ALL BALTO SOUNDCLIPS ARE OWNED AND COPYWRITED TO IT'S CREATORS AND/OR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. I'M BASICALLY SAYING THEY AREN'T MINE AND I'M NOT TAKING CREDIT FOR THEM.Thanks everyone! This song should be done by the end of the week or sooner, =3. I have all of it laid out actually (depending on the intro, it's anywhere from 4:30-5:00 about). I just need to add some more instruments and record guitar. -Blur

First of all, I'm sorry if I'm not supposed to double post even if I need to update something, D=. If needed be, this post can be deleted, I'll completely understand, ^^. UPDATE!Well, I started working on my next song titled Wolf's Instinct for the Balto album I am doing. I'm not really sure if this would be for any part in the movie, but I guess more of the idea of Balto finding his "wolf side" of himself, ^^. I only have a sort of "test export" thing right now to show you, but your feedback would be greatly appreciated so I can make this as best as possible, =D. Wolf's InstinctHope you enjoy it! Thank you, ^_^. -Blur

It's been a LOOONG time, but it's finally out now! The album that includes Wolf's Instinct, Snowblind and so forth, is now available for download, =3. Wolfblur - Bloodline Calling http://wolfblur.bandcamp.com/The reason I bumped such an old topic is that I actually get a VERY large amount of hits from Balto Source, so thank you very much for the support! Also! I made a showcase Youtube video of all the music in samples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9dKRvFKOG0-Blur
