It's been mentioned a number of times already, but the problem is, finding solid-stone info about it is a little hard. One theory is that it's set to be in a populated city again, if anything. Most people thought the JP franchise should've died with its original author, Michael Crichton. I don't know if Stephen Spielberg will be doing any of the directing on this one either, but you can see that it employs much of the former cast members.

I, personally, really hope they come through with it. I've been a fan of all the movies, though not everyone would agree with the later ones. I think the world could use another dinosaur movie. Anyone else?

It sounds interesting... I'm surprised they managed to get all the original actors together, actually. I would've thought that they'd lost interest by now, but apparently I'm wrong about that... But still, I think I'd like to see a new dinosaur movie other than the ones on the Discovery Channel! XD Enough educational stuff, bring on the sci-fi action!

I did find a small Wikipedia entry about it, too. It says that Steven Spielberg does plan to make a Jurassic Park IV, and the plotline is going to go something like this:

A new character, Nick Harris, returns to the island where the first movie took place, and retrieves the embryos that the fat guy (Dennis Nerdy) dropped when he was attacked while trying to escape the island after he cut the power. Then he's captured by agents of the company InGen, who want him to train five genetically modified dinosaurs (Deinonychus, to be exact) as mercenaries.

I hope they do make it, I always loved Jurassic Park. That little plotline thing Swords posted sounds interesting too.

Thought that will never happen, but I will look foward into that. This is for the win.

Well there are many fan trailers of JP4. Obviously, none of which are official, though.

man, i hate fan made trailers...they dissapoint you like a 6 year old wanting a new transformer for christmas and getting a pair of socks...

i've heard rumors for a fourth one for years now...and this point, i think i've set myself up for dissapointment.
though don't get me wrong, i love all the movies (got all three in that special edition type box set ^^). and have been getting so desperate for more Dinosaurs, i've been watching Dino-Squad with it's more recent lame animation just to get a 'fix'. :3

(sorry to get off topic), but i just don't get it! the animation was great in the first season or so, then
5-ish foot tall raptors are suddenly the same size as T-Rex Max! O.o

As a Jurassic Park junkie, I totally want to see this movie. I have seen my fair share of fan trailers and fan made posters, but I do recall seeing a journal entry on a JP site I found browsing the web stating that it was a possibility that there will be a new JP movie coming in 2010. I have to admit, I'm excited.

I'll wait to see it soon... Jurassic Park is my favorite movie too when I was a kid.

Though I should have mentioned that the last time I've actually been to the site was just after the third movie had made it into theaters, and this site might not be the exact one I've visited years ago, but it pretty much says the same thing.
