Quite recently, I'm thinking of ordering a Piano Accordion. And well, to be frank, I have
never had any experience with one (Nor have I felt it). So, I really don't know what to expect from this purchase. Therefore, I have some unclarified points that I hope you can spare some time to help me shed some light:
1/ How much does the price range from for an average Piano Accordion? I've stumbled to sites that have prices range from $50 to $500+, what would be the most suitable price for one that is beginning to learn how to play?
2/ How can the quality of Piano Accordions be defined? And just how can I know if it's of high quality or not? Is there anyway to test this?
3/ How long does it take to learn the basic of playing it? I've had 'bout 5-6 years of Piano and Violin and upon reading from some guides that Piano Accordions are basically like melting both of the two into one. So, would that be enough for a start?
4/ Moreover, almost every musical instrument needs a bit of tuning every now and then. What are the ways of tuning Piano Accordions? (Does it actually need tuning?)
5/ How do I care for the Piano Accordions the proper way?
6/ What genres (Or types preferably) are the Piano Accordion mostly comfortable with? Where can music sheets for the Piano Accordion be found?
I guess those are the ones I can think of at the moment. Any help and advise would be greatly welcomed and appreciated. I'm kind of new to it so yeah, I am rather inquiring
