(I don't know if this is happenin to anyone else) Okay, when ever I try to post, reply or do almost anything that has to do with posting somthing, I get logged out! And have to start all over on what I was doing. Just a little while ago, I tryed to edit my signature, and when I hit "Send" I got logged out! I did the 3 times before I posted this. I am sick of it!

I don't know if somone has hacked my account, but I would like a MOD or Steet to do somthing about this. And mabey if anyone else is having a problem with this same thing, then contact a mod.

Also, I went and looked on the character page, and saw not one, but TWO characters that were made up just to post somthing. They were just two huskies that somone found on google or somthing, and gave them a name and posted it as THIER chacter, the thing is, these were REAL huskies (I already reported them)

So can someone add more things to the character sending system? Or can it have more MODS on it? IIf there are any)

Well I don't think the problem is from the site, or else others would complain about being logged out. And, I highly doubt it is a hacker. It may be your internet connection that logs you out, perhaps it disconnects very quickly and reconnects. That may be enough to log you out.

A practical solution to this, until you can find a more permanent solution, would be to copy what you have written in the text box. If it doesn't go through, simply paste it back in after you log in.

Also, people using pictures found on Google for their wolves is fairly common, isn't it? Unless they claimed that the pictures were their own, you probably shouldn't report things like that.

I can't imagine why it would be doing that. o_O Lux might know. lol

And it's not that we need more fan character mods - we have enough of them. It's either that a) they don't check them enough or b) they just flat out don't check the fan characters. Whenever you find ones like that, simply report them and a mod will take care of it. ;D




Then you need to re-read the rules on that. People are not allowed to use photos they have found off of any image search for their fan characters.

Well by that logic renders should be banned too, because it is essentially taking copyrighted material and changing the colors to look like one's character. I don't see anyone cracking down on that or similar issues. So why this?

Well, a real dog or wolf isn't someone's character, it's a real dog or wolf.

I know, I read them. BUt it I was looking at the charcter page, and it just said "Abbie" so I clicked on it and the discription said "Abbie" it didn't say anything about it belonging to that person. And same with the other one, but I can't remember its name

And the part about them not checking it, why would they do that? Why make smothing if MODS aren't going to chek it? ^^'. But hey, what can I do.



Uuh, yeah that's kind of the reason I reported that person XD.

If you have not ticked the "Always log in"-something option when you log in to the site, you will be logged off after about thirty minutes of inactivity (e.g the server doesn't see you browsing the forums while online).

By the way, this isn't a suggestion, but more of a rant.

I know it will log me out for that reason XD but the thing is, if I get a new message when I click "Reply" it logs me out.

Anyway, I'll have a look at the problem and see if I can get to a fix. Meanwhile, I suggest you try out the Opera browser, as it is more functional than Internet Explorer and a bit more stable than Firefox.

I can not be sure, but I don't believe the problem you've encountered with the log in system has got anything to do with the website, nor the hacker. It might just be your computer. I suggest you try out another forum and see if the problem persists, or perhaps another web browser. Do you use Internet Explorer? If so, try downloading Mozilla Firefox. (Or vice versa.) If you're still being logged out every time you try to submit on another browser, I honestly don't know what could be wrong.

As for the Fan Characters section, there have already been moderators assigned that regularly check the section (The ones that do their job at least.) and remove anything that doesn't abide by the rules. There are also members active in that section who give us links to the characters that should be reported to the mods, and seeing as a new report system has been put into place by Steet that section should be cleaned up in no time.

The rule IS as tibb said - You cannot use photographs for a character's picture.

It's less to do with the copyright issue though and more to do with the fact - it's highly unlikely you'll be able to use either photographs of the exact same animal OR replicate it close enough in artwork for it to still look like the photo.
Not to mention the fact photographs are not allowed in the fan art or images sections particularly on their own so you couldn't actually use photo's of the same animal for art and images anyway.

I don't think so, because my friend spent te night and when she got on her account, she replyd to somthing, and didn't get loged out
