Welcome to my new topic! o.k judging by the title you are probably thinking i'm talking about wolves but you'd be wrong.I'm actually talking about graceful yet boisterous african wild dog.Now this well patterned dogs have gotten themselves a lot of topics at the moment and loys of wild dog chars are being made but what do you think of them? Beauty or Beast?

In my opion they are beautiful creature and if you look at some of the pictures below you will see why.My reason for this opion is simple.Look at their gorgeous markings and those fab ears!!
Two of these pics also show their elegence and grace.

What do you think beauty or beast?

I'd have to say that the African Wild Dog is both beauty AND the beast.

Yes,because of the African Wild Dogs markings,that's why I consider it both beauty and the beast.

I think they are a beauty. Such amazing creatures as well. I've only seen them in a zoo, but their movement is so fluid.. I love them. :} And their markings = amazing!

Totally agreed i watched a whole programm on them on animal planet and it was amazing i'v also seen pups in the zoo once and nearly screamed in excitement ^^

I'd have to say both. I mean they have a great coat pattern but they are wild.

They're such gorgeous animals and look beautiful when they run.

I don't think it's really fair to call any animal "beast" just because they're wild. By that every wild animal is a beast. (Which I suppose technically they are as they're often referred to as "beasts" instead of "animals" but not in this context.)
It's basically just like the saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

Beauty All The Way


These creatures are like me, so oddly adapted and so beautiful. I love the coloration, the tail, and the ears. Perhaps along the lines there was some sort of fennec fox mixed in there, just form the ears.

But they are indeed beautiful. I think all animals are beautiful(If not physically) in some way or another.

But to make my point more clear,there's more beauty than there is beast in an

African Wild Dog.

African wild dog is beauty I think !

I'll elaborate more on my response but Aloha Aleu pretty much said what I wanted to.

I said both 'cause they're beautiful animals but they're also predators and that makes them dangerous.
