On the first page of the book forum, there are nine threads pertaining to Twilight. NINE.
This might be influenced by the fact I have a list of fifty diseases I'd rather contract than read Twilight, but it's common sense people. We don't need nine Twilight threads!
There is one centralized topic, discuss which sparkling vampire is the best sparkling vampire there.

Personally. No. I don't think we need so many Twilight threads. It's ridiculous.
I'd possibly class over half of them as spam but I am also stuck as it's not technically a duplicate thread as they're all about different things. It gives me a large headache.
But pleeeeeaaase stop posting so many topics about essentially the same thing! Surely Twilight doesn't have SO many talking points that it needs several topics, the same goes for everything else that has a ton of topics barring Balto and Lion King as that's what the forum is basically made for.
If you have the uncontrollable urge to make a zillion threads about Twilight, please, take it to the Twilight fan-forums.

This isn't so much as a "bash Twilight" thread. But I didn't keep my mouth shut so this is karma. x3
This also applies to everything. One topic is good enough. Or better yet, find a forum specializing in it.

Its as annoying as the million and a half Ginga forum posts and the 2 million adoption topics and Kodi/Dusty polls. But at least those have to do with /dogs/ -.-

But at least those have to do with /dogs/ -.- You took the words right out of my mouth. C'mon people, there are other books out there, apart from Twilight (and I think we have a similar situation with the Warriors series too). This is not a criticism of said books, but there are other fan-forums out there that are much more suitable (and better) for discussing them. The books section here is for books in general, not just a particular series. Besides, I don't see billions of threads for books like To Kill a Mockingbird or All Quiet on the Western Front now, do we?

I like the Ginga a little, but not enough to hear about it so much, it's just too much, I don't mind if people make another thread if the oringal one is dead, but if theirs ones alive, Don't make more!

If you have the uncontrollable urge to make a zillion threads about Twilight, please, take it to the Twilight fan-forums. Oh, you can do it if you want, I have nothing against it. There should actually be only one topic about that book. You visit that section much more often than me, so I'll let you decide what (and if) to lock. In which case... There are 4 still unlocked though. 1 large, original Twilight thread ("The Twilight series") and 3 which I'm stuck on... One about Harry Potter Vs. Edward Cullen, one about the Harry Potter series Vs. the Twilight series and one about one person's theory concerning Harry Potter and Twilight.

Yes, some of them are stupid like comparing who the best sparkling vampire is but the best thing to do in my opinion is to just ignore those topics. I'm not a very big fan of Twilight myself but I think some of the topics aren't so bad. Those are mainly in the movies section and out of all the many many Twilight topics I've seen on the forums only about three or so were decent and weren't total garbage.
