I've been really getting into X-men lately. I've watched the first movie twice and I've watched the first four episodes released of Wolverine and the X-Men on Nicktoons Network. I've been looking for X-Men/Superhero roleplays, and I was thinking, 'I've really got to do one of these.' So, here's what I've thought of! ^^

X-Men: A team of highly skilled mutants (humans/human-like creatures with special gifts) who've come together to protect all of mankind.


Logan finally came back after searching for his past in Canada for so long. Bobby, Marie, and Kitty all became very good friends. Scott and Jean aren't getting along so well, leaving Ororo to look after Charles Xavier. But when new mutants are assigned to the group, the tension rises and fights tend to break out, never making very good first impressions.

Just then, a new threat breaks out upon New York City. It's not Magneto, and it's certainly not Mystique. There's a new mutant that's bigger, badder, and more power then the X-Men had ever seen before. Charles warns the X-Men to put their differences aside in order to save the city, maybe even the world, as a team, from the greatest threat of mankind before it is too late.

Will the X-Men be able to defeat this new threat? Or will they fail and let this threat destroy all of humanity itself? Only you can decide that!

Rules:
The usual Balto Source Rules
For cussing, use ****. But keep it to a minimum!
No inappropriate content for any kind of matter or it will result in a warning. If it continues, you will be kicked out of the roleplay.
Be active at least twice to three time a week. If anything else is going on that prevents you from responding, be sure to tell me ahead of time or else you'll risk losing your place within the roleplay.
Limit for characters is two max.

Powers: He could heal himself pretty fast, and he has claws within his fists. Plus his entire skeleton is consisted of metal.

Power: He can transport to almost anywhere, and he can make himself nearly invisible in the shadows.

"X-Men United" Can I be Cyclops and Storm? I don't really want to make bios for them though, since they're personalities and powers are already established. However I do want to characters of my own.

Name: Andrew
Mutant Name: Chimera
Age: 16
Powers: Animal-like agility, strength, durability, and senses, has porcupine-like quils in place of hair, which he can shoot as projectiles, healing factor (far slower the Logan's) and has the ability to shoot a skunk-like musk from his hands in his human form, he mutates later on into an beast-like form and the musk glands move under his tail like a skunk. As a weakness, his mutation isn't entirely stable and he could further mutate into an animal-like state, simular to Beast's mutation.
Appearence: Human: A black haired Native American teen who normally wears a red shirt and blue jeans along with a dreamcatcher necklace. Mutated Form: Has a wolf-like face with long porcupine quils on the back of his neck, ape-like arms and feet, covered in brown hair on his top half and lizard scales on bottom, has a skunk-like tail with correct colors, amber eyes, he has claws on his hands.

Name: Jarret
Mutant Name: Highstakes
Age: 17
Powers: Super healing, almost as good as Logan's, and incrediable luck, though the latter power is only triggered subconsciously but can happen at will if he flips a coin and calls it correctly but only lasts a short time, this luck allows him to do things he'd normally be unable to do because things always go his way during theses times, for example, a armed gunsmen might miss completely at point blank range, though it doesn't extend to his allies and can quit at inopertune moments as well as not manfest the way he'd like.
Appearence: Black haired, blue eyes, black leather vest, blue jeans, and black sun glasses.

We might want to start, since this came pretty close to dieing.

Yeah, I guess you're right...since we've filling up most of the positions anyway. You can play other characters temporarily if you'd like just to fill in any gaps. We'll start when Logan and Scott get into another fight before Charles makes his announcement about the new mutants...

Logan was riding up on his motorcycle (yes, his motorcycle! ^^) up the street when he finally came to the entrance of the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters. He smiled half to himself as he thought, 'I'm finally home...' He then wondered who was coming to greet him when he first saw none other than...his teacher and best friend, Charles Xavier himself....

Scott was out front, rubbing his head. He and Jean weren't exactly on the same page right now. He saw Logan had returned and growled slightly to himself, he knew that Jean and Logan might of had something had it not been for Scott, this angered him.

Storm was beside Professor X. "Hello Logan, welcome back." she said. "Its been a long time, hasn't it?"

OOC: Intresting fact, Storm in the comics married the Black Panther, I'm not sure if I can make mention of that or not.

Bic:// Logan just smiled even more as he pulled up to Storm and the others. "It sure has," he finally replied, turning off his bike and taking off his helmet. He turned to Scott and just nodded in greeting, hoping that there were still no hard feelings... But then again, he really did miss fighting with him. He then turned to Charles and got off of his bike before walking up to him.

"Welcome back, Logan," Charles greeted with a very plesant smile. "I hope you have found what you've been looking for..."

"Hey Chuck," Logan replied. "Just barely. I still have a few puzzles to crack, but...what's life with out friends, right?" He then looked around before asking, "Hey, where are the others? I was hoping for a more homecoming welcome than this! ...But no offence."

Jean walked down the stairs and said, "Welcome back, Logan." She joined hte others, ignoring Scott completly. She stood beside Storm, arms crossed, stil angry at Scott.

Bobby joined the group. "Hey, Logan." He held out his hand.
