There are some film companies out there which generally try to make inspiring pieces of art, or an entertaining experience at the very least. And then there are some companies which don't seem to have an ounce of imagination, such as Dingo Pictures for example.
But even that so-called 'studio'(with their poorly animated Balto rip-off) looks respectable when compared to this dud:
THE ASYLUMThe Asylum is a company that has this tendency to create cheap, direct-to-DVD movies which are remarkably similar to big Hollywood blockbusters, and are often released around the same time, so people get confused. Such films are known as 'Mockbusters.'
A few examples of The Asylum's 'imaginative' releases include:
Transmorphers (Transformers)
I am Omega (I am Lengend)
Sunday School Musical (High School Musical - good grief!)
AVH: Alien vs Hunter (Try guessing this one

)
The Day the Earth Stopped (The Day the Earth Stood Still)
Snakes on a Train (Snakes on a Bus...sorry, Plane)
The Da Vinci Treasure (The Da Vinci Code)
And of course, the deceptively similar DVD cases:
