"No gays. I want to keep this Kid friendly."
"No gay characters Let's keep this PG-13"
Do phrases like this offend you? Well I can tell you it definetly offends me.
Do they realize what they have just said? Are homosexuals not kid friendly? So if a gay relationship is not kid friendly then what is any good with a heterosexual relationship? It's a relationship regardless. As far as I know, a relationship is when two people share feelings for each other. If a relationship between two men or two women are unacceptable then I surely doubt a man and female relationship is acceptable.
Are we homosexuals rated 18+ Why? We are just two people who share feelings, like a Heterosexual pairing. If we can't share feelings with each other, why should Heterosexuals be able to share feelings. We're all the same. We're human beings, not savages. We are not 18th Century anymore. We are not in World War 2. It is PERFECTLY fine to like one of the same gender.
I'm just tired of seeing roleplays saying no gays or incest or that unlawful crap ; we are a family roleplay, kid friendly, PG 13. It's upsetting, and it offends me and probably others.Honestly have an eligible reason before you decide to put that rule up.
We should be promoting tolerance, and acceptance. Not alienation.

Completely Agreeable. I always wondered about this but never had the hair - eh- fur - to stand up about it.
Seriously, guys? Really? Grow up. A gay - Nothing more nothing less than a straight person.

I'd go into it, but I'm going to show a healthy respect for what steet has mandated. Get this topic out of here.

Kaz Rules #1 and #17, in steet's own words. I've asked a mod to attend to the problem, so there's not much point in further discussion. We shouldn't even have to consult the rules for it, considering parents have kicked their kids off the site over such content. Since they control their children's access to the internet, and rightly so, it's only right that we respect their wishes. I appreciate your respect for what's permitted here; many have little if any such respect.

I souly agree with this.
One of my mates are gay and he says he feels left out that he cant (When he goes onto sites like these) post up a gay relationship, when I could (And do) post Male+Female relationships.
I'm not a "fan" of Homosexuel relationships and I probably won't use them whilst I RP, but I would never "Ban" it from my roleplay, I might aswel say "No Relationships allowed".
And if you look into it enough, it's Homophobic bullying, which in the UK (And some other country's) is ILLEGAL. To me, Homophobic abuse is just as bad as Racist Abuse, so infact I might aswel just write "No people from an African or Asian Country" because thats all it is.
BULLYING!
Dragon Tamer: perants have kicked there children of the site because of Gay Relationships in roleplays? Thats low.

This is a site about two CARTOON MOVIES aimed primarily at a youthful audience. It is NOT a site for the political promotion of the gay/******/bi/trans-gender agenda. That there are members here who do not want to see that stuff on the site does NOT equate with homophobia. I don't see anyone here calling for homosexuals to be dragged out into the streets and beaten to a pulp. I don't see them rallying members to cyber-bully or flame homosexuals. I DON'T see them spouting homophobic rhetoric. THAT doesn't EVER happen here.
Jesus freakin'...ENOUGH already! There are places for that kind of material, and that kind of grandstanding! And for those who wish to socially-network and promote GLBT material (art, fiction, photography, PORNography, etc.) Take it to the appropriate places. THIS is not one of them. DEAL with it.
Unbelievable... Very well said JC,the truth couldn't be put more simple.

Bbenjii We are promoting tolerance - however, children do not need to be exposed to the political (and religious - both subjects which are forbidden here) debate of homosexuals. It's fine that you're homosexual (I am bi, myself). But most of this site's memberbase are kids and kids that have no idea how to act properly at that. Children bully people that are different from them. Whenever the subject of homophobia, homosexuality, etc. has been brought up on this website, it has always sparked heated debates and flame wars (notably, of many particapants who are religious and atheists who's views and opinions clash). That is why we're not allowing gay content here anymore. You're allowed to go out and call yourself a homosexual, sadist or whatever you are, and you are welcome to discuss it... privately (as, like I said, publically discussing homosexuality, parasexuality, or any of the sort, ends up in flame wars in more than most of the cases). And that's why I - unfortunately - have to lock this topic. I really don't think you should allow these rules to offend you and other gays - they are just here for your protection.
