Another mate contest. Yay. XD

So, little miss Mishka needs a mate and a few freinds. They will all become a part of a fanfic series I hope to start this summer- which the plot has been with me for a long time but was unable to be used. The winner of her mate will also be writting parts of the fanfic.

Congratulations to the winners! It was very, very, very[i] tough choosing between every unique character. I have to say choosing the mate for Drea was the most challenging. Luckyshamrock came very close with her entry fr Drea, and if you're interested in seeing Drea's sister, please PM me asap. Thank you~

Everything you need to know about this contest is as shown below~

Rules;;

- No fursonas.
- The mates [i]must be male wolves.
- Try to be realistic. No blue wolves or green dogs. Use realistic markings, to some extent, and real fur colors.
- Be creative. I don't want to see an all black wolf with blue eyes.
- No whining or complaining. If you do, then your character won't win anything.
- Renders aren't perffered, but they're okay to use. Lineart is fine, but if you draw the picture yourself you'll have a better chance at winning.
- Take your time on your entry or entries. So far there is no deadline so there shouldn't be any reason for you to feel rushed.
- You can enter two characters, one for each of the ladies, but that doesn't mean if one member wins with one entry they automatically win the other.

Any other rules that I have left out will be added in orange., so be sure you check back here often.

What I'm Looking For;;

- Mishka is a sensitive husky who is all about running and having a good time. She isn't very social, so she'll need a handsome male to keep her spirits up and who will protect her from the dangers of the wild. He also needs to be more 'good' than 'bad' or 'evil'.
- The male wolf who will become her mate is the alpha heir of the pack. He cannot be the biggest and strongest wolf in the pack, that just makes the story less enjoyable when one of the main characters is 'unbeatable'. He'll have a lot of competition for his future rank and maybe even battle for Mishka's heart.
- Drea is a rebellious dog who is stronger than she thinks. She needs a male that she could feel comfortable being around.
- Neither Mishka or Dierdre like wolves, they're scared of them. Although Dierdre has seen many in the old indian village she used to live in, but never has she actually spoken to one, same goes for Mishka.

Anything I've left out will be added in orange.

Well since there are two girls that are single, the winner(s) will have a picture drawn of either Mishka or Drea (whichever their entry has won the heart of one of these girls) and a free requeast drawn in their choosing of digitally (with tablet) or traditionally (pencil).

Personality: He is very sweet but competitive. He has an aggresive side especially whne it comes to him winning or losing. He can be a show off but only to an extent

Appearance: Brown, medium grey, and white. he has an muscular but athletic body structure

History: He was born in the woods and almost abandoned as a pup when his mother died. Luckily, his father decided to keep him. he grew up learning to hunt and live like the wolf he was. when he turned 1 he experienced what we would call "teen love". it was with a girl named haylee. they were never together but he wante to be and when she actually gave hima chance he realized how stuck up and '****' she was. after that he agreed to find a nice girl who would never break his heart.

Extras: When he was a pup he learned to balance things on his nose and head. XD he uses it to show off sometimes

Why do you think your character should be mates/friends with Mishka?: He is very sweet and unique. He is also caring and protective so he sounds like a good match for her and your stroy.

Oh, im sorry. So you did want a full wolf? My bad, ill fix that. Brent is new character of mine and ive never made a full bio for him. This is a good chance to start.

Heh, the name Mishka sounds like a vampire's name in the van hellsing movie!!!! I'll enter!!!

Name: his first name was Alhyidahr, but his parents changed it to Dareh, (means 'circle') because it took him the time for the moon to become a circle to heal from his illness.

Personality:
Quiet, tends to keep to himself. Dareh hates to get into trouble, but because of his over-peacefull methods of curing problems and unconventional refusal of most kinds of meat(see history), he is often the subject of scorn and ridicule, though many others admire his peacemaking role in the pack. He has a feminine, somewhat weak figure due to lack of nourishment in the plants that he eats, because he rarely eats meat of animals unless he craves the protein. Dareh's physique is weak but he wont admit it, trying to instead focus on developing his speed, wit, and problem-solving ideas. Dareh is quite gracefull for being so scrawny, and has a clam balance in his body and mind. Others feel calmer around him, as happy vibes often float off of him onto others. He is a sweet guy, very content to simply be around Miska and share thoughtfull chats with her.

History:
When Dareh a very young pup, at teething age, he caught his first meal on his own. Now, Dareh was the youngest sibling of the three pups born to the Alphas, and he was quite scrawny as it is. He was only able to catch the small squirrel because it was weakened with poisons from eating a sprayed lettuce leaf from a farm. Dareh was too excited with his first catch to notice how sick the dead animal was, and he hungrily ate it.
A day later, Dareh became very sick, vomiting and becoming intensly de-hydrated. He nearly died, but he somehow got through it with the constant care of his pack. After his weeks of sickness, the illnes from the poison had stunted Dareh's growth, and he would never completely reach his full height and strength potenyial after that...Dareh refuses to consume much meat anymore, as he is hesitant to get sick again.

Later in life (he was about 2), he got in quite a big fight with his brother Brynjar, resulting in a reluctant and tearfull banishment of the eldest son by the Alpha, Katswili. (Kat is usually fair, but Bryn was definatly the favorite pup. It was his mate, Kamaria, who ultimatly forced him to banish Bryn in order to avenge their youngest son.) Dareh now boasts a large gash-scar on his hind leg, a lasting reminder of the family feud.

Because Kat had to banish Bryn because of the fight with Dareh, this put Dareh out of his favor. Dareh's sister Waridi became mates with another wolf and joined his pack, leaving Dareh the sole heir. (Khan left his pack to escape the infatuatious intentions of Bear, who was continuously more obvesive and possesive of him. He was eventually tracked down by a mob of hunters who had initially tagged him(red ID colar) and captured him. Khan's wereabouts are currently unknown...) However, Kat, out of anger and a bit of pride, is refusing to let his weak son take control of the pack. Now Dareh has to fight off other sutiors to his father's pack, which isn't looking to good for skinny little Dareh...

Dareh had become infatuated with a dog(?) named Mishka. He enjoys sharing conversations and 'special' moments with her, but now because of his recent rank de-motation, he not only must fight for his place as Alpha, but for Mishka's affections as well.

Extras/ As My Character:
I have had Dareh since late October of '08. He was designed for me in a contest by Dewey (tank chu!) as a pup of my alpha pair... I altered his design and history somewhat, as you can see here. Anyways, I saw this contest, read the requirements, and basically did a backflip Its exactly the type of contest Dareh would be perfect for!

Why do you think your character should be mates/ friends with Mishka? Dareh is such a good boy with a heart of gold...if he was given the chance, he would really love and respect Mishka. Also, his personality and history really fit the bill for this contest.

Appearence: I'l make one of him and Mishka later! ;]

I only have renders of this character so far, but I can make a drawing since it calls for it. :3 I'm not on my computer right now so I have to wait. I'll give you my bio now. Some things are changed from his character page.

Name: King
Age: Same as Mishka
Gender: Male
Breed: Mackenzie Valley Wolf
Relationship: Mate
Likes: Humor, making people smile, chasing rabbits, running with the huskies
Dislikes: The ocean, his mother, being snapped at
Fears: Swimming
Personality:King has a love for life and humor. He has a generally positive outlook on the world and is often the first to be at someone's side to give them uplifting advice. Unfortunately, King is not the most socially clued-in wolf. He may see his intentions as helpful, but in the end he usually ends up annoying the one he was trying to cheer up. But being a furry brown twit, he always forgives the one who snapped at him in record time.
Appearance: King is brown with a sand colored stripe down his back. His back feet, belly, and muzzle are a chocolate brown.
History:King was born to another pack led by the alpha Honey, who was his mother. Honey grew tired of her mate and murdered him to make herself available to a more handsome stronger male. King knew Honey killed his father, and he told everyone who would listen what she did. Whether they were in denial based off fear or blind devotion, no one knows. But King's accusations were largely ignored until an omega, hopelessly in love with the alpha and willing to do anything to please her, turned King in to Honey. Honey and the pack drove him to a seacliff and surrounded him, accusing him of conspiring to kill his mother and tarnish her name with his outlandish (yet true) accusations. He backed away from them and slipped off the edge, falling into the ocean below. Honey convinced the pack that all was well now that the traitor was dead.

However, she was wrong. King washed up on shore and dragged himself into the forests. After days of wandering alone, he ambled into Nome, making himself at home in the crawlspace under a house.
Extras:King is the rightful heir to the spot of alpha, but he's afraid that his mother would have no qualms about killing him. He is absolutely capable of defeating her and any other competitors, it's a matter of getting over his fear.
Why do you think your character should be mates/ friends with Mishka? King's lived a rough life. He needs someone to not only understand him and not call him a coward, but someone who can support him while he supports them in return.

I have added a new female that is mateless, since she didn't win Iditarod's contest for Saimar's mate, on the first post. With this addition, that means many things have changed, so it's be wise to read over everything once more. Sorry for the short notice, but the entries so far are all awesome! ;D

Name: Kon

Gender: Male

Breed: Wolf

Age: 4 1/2

Personality: Kon is very kind and enjoys helping others. Kon is a very stubborn wolf but is very protective of Kamera. Kon is also a bit of a show off and loves to brag when he catches hard prey. Kon has a temper problem but does his best to control it. Kon is cautious and always willing to protect those around him. Kon is wise, Devious and alittle crafty in serious problems and is not afraid to show when he is alittle scared. Kon is also a bit of the jelous type.

History: When he was born his mother had died giving birth along with his sibbling and his father had abandoned them. An old wolf had manage to find him and take him in as his own and raised him in his pack. When he turned a year and a half old the wolf had died. While Kon was out hunting he came upon a small wolf pup by the name of Kamera. Kon took Kamera in and raised her like he would a little sister. Kon spent three years taking care of Kamera. Kon was hated by some of his packmates because he took in a stray wolf pup but he didn't care because he thought it would be a wise desicion and he still thinks that today.

Mate: None yet.

Origin of Character: Made for a contest but lost so i kept him anyway

Parents: Mother (Decesed), Father (Left) So he never really got to know his parents or siblings.

Past Mate(if any): None

Likes: Kon enjoys running through the woods and hunting. He also enjoys getting the hunters angry and being pack leader. Kon is also very fond his adopted pup Kamera. Kon likes Dierdre also but he keeps it to himself in fear of the pack members finding out. Kon also enjoys staying up late and watching the stars its one of his favorite pass times.

Dislikes: Kon Hates hunters or certain type of dogs. Kon dislikes other males near Mishka or Kamera. Kon also dislikes anyone hurting those he cares about or his pack members trying to double cross him. Kon would hate the idea of losing Dierdre or Kamera to anyone or anything else mainly Mishka. Kon hates other packs or other wild animals trying to attack his pack mates or loved ones.

Fears: One of Kon's worst fear is loosing all his pack members or his pack members killing Kamera or Dierdre.

Past pups(if any): He found Kamera in a cave and took care of her so kinda does but shes a year younger then him now

Appearance: He is a light grey male wolf with Dark brown and black markings. His eyes are dark with a baby blue coulor.

Who do you want your bachelor to be mates with?: Dierdre

Why do you think your character should be mates with Mishka/Dierdre?: I think Kon could use a good Mate and I think Dierdre would play the perfect role in that part and i think she would make Kon very happy.

How Kon met Dierdre: I was on a stressfull night his pack was running out of food and the pups were starving and whimpering for food. That night Kon set out to find food he set into a small town quietly trying not to wake anyone. Kon had heard a whimper and set off to find out who it was. Kon found Dierdre being pinned down by two large strey mutts. Kon growled loudly at them and watched them run off. Kon walked up to Dierdre but she moved back away from him. Kon made sure she wasn't hurt and then ran off to go look for more food. Kon found himself interested in Dierdre but wasn't sure what to say to her so he kept that secret to himself and watched over her every now and again.

I was drawing a total blank with this, I've changed this character waaay to much! (He had no real bio, since I kept changing gender/breed/history.)

Name: Lunia (Loon-High)
Age: 3 years
Gender: male
Breed: grey wolf/red wolf.
Likes: Helping, puppies, freinds, humans, playing pranks, and Dierdre.
Dislikes: Being hurt, put down, seeing girls cry, and being alone.
Fears: Having to lead, speaking in front of large crowds,
Personality:Lunia is quite shy, but also has a playfull side. Instead of helping a pack hunt he would rather stay back and care for younger members. He loves to help people, even if he knows he wont get anything in return. When someone breaks a set rule he will do anything to make the other behave, unless he was involved. He has a spot for pulling pranks, or telling jokes, as long as they arent to rude, or will hurt someone alot.
Appearance: See picture below.
History: Lunia's parents where captured by humans, and where forced to breed. They were both let out into the wild once his mother was pregnant. So when he was growing up he never knew his father, only his mother, siblings and his packmates. Lunia was looked down on from the pack for awhile since he had blonde, and redish fur making him stand out. Being curious Lunia somtimes ventures to human towns.
Extras: He has a steal collar around his eck, a human placed on him. ( it can com off, is like a cheap ring that is opened on the bottom so you can stretch it to fit your finger.)

Why do you think your character should be mates with Mishka/Dierdre? Lunia never really had a reason to stay as my character, but I kept him anyway. When I saw Dierdre in Iditarod's contest I absolutly adored her, tihis contest made me think of Lunia so I had to enter him!

Im Trying for Dierdre instead I love her but i will try for Mishka soon promise ^^
