In a small town, all dogs are friends. However, a big competition is about to occur and it stirs the competitive streak in every dog. Every dog has strong emotions during this time and because of it some dogs become enemies, some stay friends, and some fall in love. What will happen?

The Competition:

1st challenge- A herding match. Each dog will herd sheep and the first one done wins that challenge.

2nd challenge: Each dog will compete in agility.

3rd challenge: Each dog will run with his or her owner.

4th challenge: the Sheriff’s dog, Sniffer, will decide which dog he thinks is most respectable.

5th challenge: The judges will chose the dog they think fitting and, if they are caught between more than one dog, they will host a tiebreaker, which will depend of which dogs make it to the finals.

Personality: reblious, adventutous, curious, flirty, klutzy, fun-loving
History: Finn was bought off of a rancher whos dog (Truck) and pups with a neighbor-s dog (Angel). When she first came, Finn loved having such a big family where the ecxitement never ended, but now the excitement is fading. She is getting older now and wants to find a mate for herself, but most of the dogs in her family are female, puppies, or just not catching her attention. She would love to run away, but she is scared stiff of that. And only that. She likes having a family and she doesn't want to go anywhere alone. She enjoys the competition, but is glad it only comes once a year.

Okay, I'm gonan put the starting post after I add Sniffer's bio. ^^ We'll start right the day the fighting begins.

Name: Sniffer

Breed: Border Collie/ Bernese Mountain dog

Appearance:
Personality: Sniffer is loyal, brave, and kind. He would give his life for another dog or his master in a heartbeat, not thinking about teh consequences for himself. Sniffer is dedicated to his line of work and would enver let a criminal roam free. He doesn't take crap from anyone and ahtes teh fact that the dogs fight about this competition.
History: Sniffer had a rough life. At six months old, his old ownser dumped him in a Ghost town and he walked for miles until an animal countrol officer picked him up. At the pound, no one would adopt him and he was about to be put down. Right before he was given teh shot, Sniffer managed to escape. He wandered into the very town that hosts the competitions and was picked up by the deputy sherrif. He began to help catch criminals and became the deputy's dog, best friend, and assistant. When the deputy became Sherrif, Sniffer was right there beside him.

Shiloh clawed anxiously at the door, whimpering. He wanted to go outside. His heart pounded within his chest with excitement. Teh competitions were rappidly aproaching! He couldn't wait. And this time, he had promised himelf not to fight with his friends about it. However, he couldn't stop himelf from getting competitive. He let out an ear splitting howl and his owner ran down teh hall. "Okay, okay!" he said gruffly, wrenching the door open. Shiloh botled out the door, sniffing for his friends wildly and excitedly.

Leila finishe dher breakfest and padded through her doggy door, clamly roaming hte streets. She pricked her ears and glanced around. Maybe she could find Lily. She lvoed to talk with Lily but everyone did. Lily was just one of those dogs that you couldn't help but like.

Joey trotted outside, wagging his tail. He let out an excited bark as he approached his friend, Sandlot's house. She was his best friend and he also hada crush on her but he'd enver tell her. She apdded out and they sniffed each oter in greeting.

Sniffer slowly got out of hi sdoggy bed and padded to John behind the desk. "Good boy," whispered John, scratchign him behind the ears. Sniffer smiled ot himself and sat down, wicning slightly. His joints were stiff from his arthritus and age. As his owner lifted hsi hand back to the dsk, Sniffer slowly padded outside to do his usual, slow patrol of hte town.

Sadie ducked out of her doggie door, down her porch steps, and onto the side walk. She trotted for a while, sticking close to the sidewalk. She moved daintily, chest out and head up. Her posture was nothing sort of proud.

Rose laid on her porch, thinking lazily of the competition that was fast approaching. All the younger dogs were, of coure, getting all hyped up about it. She got up and shook the dirt from her fur before padding toward town.

Cooper pulled uselessly at the chain that had him attached to his dog house. His boy's mother hated having a dog in the first place. Having a wolf dog made it worse. Having a wolf dog that ran away everyday pushed her to her very last nerve. Coop growled at the chain as he yanked his hardest, but it was firmly stuck to the wood.

Finn ran after a ball that on of the children had thrown across the yard. She barked before catching it mid-jump and landing gracefully back to the ground. She turned around and hurried it back to the boy.

Cody chased after two of the girls that lived with him around the house for the fifth time. He adjusted his speed again, reluctantly though because the more they ran the more tired the two girls got, slwoing them down. Cody didn't want their laughter to stop by catching them, so he had to slow as they did. And he hated it.

Lily was inside her owner Sasha's house. Sasha was at school and both her parents were at work, so Lily had the run of the house. The excitemnt wore off after a few hours, though.

Bridget walked deeper into the alley that she had just found. It was dark and out of the sun, just the type of place she was looking for. She sat in the corner of it and looked at the ground, content to stay there for how long she needed and wanted.

Shiloh saw Rose trotting through towna dn bounded to her. "Hey, Rose!" he barked, wagging his tail. "You excited for teh competition?" He winked, knowing that she didn't make as big a deal of it as most everyone did.

Sniffer padde dby Cooper's house and trotted into teh gate. "Hey, Coop. you okay? Why are you all tied up?" he looked at the younger dog in concern. "You get itno trouble?"
