Want a good and free picture editing program?

You want a good picture editing program? You can't afford Photoshop or Paint shop pro?
Try The Gimp : it's free and legal! (it's an opensource program, like Firefox for example)

The Gimp is an equivalent to Photoshop and Paint shop pro, it has most of their functionalities. As many people here don't have either of them, but would like to improve their drawings by using computer programs (as most best artists on the site do), I've thought that it could interest you.

"The Gimp for Windows" (it is also available for other OS, of course...)

If you don't like The Gimp, there are a few other free picture editing program, more simple (less functionalities) but appreciated :

* PhotoFiltre : http://www.photofiltre-studio.com/

* Paint.NET : http://www.getpaint.net/

Finally, there are also online applications which are similar but without the need to install anything, like this one:

I remeber someone telling me about this....oh yea!It was Nighteyes.The program seems very efficient,I plan on downloading it soon.^^

Looks cool, so I'm downloading it now. I have about 5 editing programs on my computer, so if this is like Photoshop then I can uninstall some of them. Thanks for posting, Steet!

No not at all you save the pic click browse and then it gives you certin types of links copy paste direct link and put the img code
