Liar Liar and Yes Man are really great comidices. But do we not see the little things in them. Both are played by Jim Carrey. Not just that the almost have the same plot. Liar Liar tells Jim he can't lie anymore, and so he can't and his life is changed for good. But for Yes Man he only says yes and his life is changed. But for at the ending he learn that saying yes isn't always needed and lieing is sort of okay. So like why would they make the same movie plot.

Because it's Hollywood and they never think of anything original. Ever.

I think Yes man is stupid. What kind of a dumb plot is this: he has to say yes to everything. Wow! That is soooooo creative and funny. Same goes for Liar, Liar. I'm sorry, but if somebody actually thinks these are funny and original movies then they do not have good taste in movies.

I thought both of them were pretty funny. Especially Liar Liar. That was the funniest. Some people just don't like the movie plots, and that offends me none whatsoever. People like different types of movies. It's called opinions.

Yes Man got me kind of bored in the middle of the movie, but I still liked it a bit.
Liar Liar was enjoyable to watch. Jim Carrey is such a talented and funny actor.
