This is an official contest from the Balto Source website! The actual contest is completed, so I will not be accepting any more entries! However, it is now time for the official voting to begin!

Voting Rules:

- Anyone that is a member of the Balto Source/TLK Source/Animation Source Forums may cast a vote. (Yes, that means you. *points at reader*)
- Each member can only cast ONE (1) Vote. Once the vote has been made, you cannot change it.
- Voting ends in 30 days (It's sometime in early February 2009 . . . that's all I know!), and the decision shall be final.
- In this thread, please DO NOT reply with who you voted for. However, if there were a couple of entries that you really liked, feel free to comment and praise the artist for their hard work. No bashing, please.
- In the case of a tie (if we have one, that is), . . . well, we'll figure something out if that happens, won't we?

Just remember . . . Vote for which entry you believe is a decently-designed fan-cover for "Balto II: Wolf Quest". It doesn't have to be the best drawn, but if it maintains the actual spirit of the film, that's all that matters. Also, you can just vote for the entry you like the best . . . it's all up to you!

Prizes: I am only giving out custom prizes to the top three winners, however, I may have something for the other seven entrants as a "thanks-for-participating" prize . . . so I guess everyone wins! (But the top three get better prizes. XD) Just in case you want to know, here's the prize list again . . .

- 1st Place: A colored version of my sample fan-cover (the line drawing is on the contest page; it's the SAMPLE), a WQ sig/avatar set personalized to your liking (nothing offensive, please - and no renders), and your choice of either a render or fanart of any character (original or official - NOTE: you can only choose one!)

- 2nd Place: A WQ sig/avatar set personalized to your liking (nothing offensive, please . . .) and a fanart of an official Balto character (no fan-characters, please - and no renders)

- 3rd Place: A WQ sig/avatar set personalized to your liking (nothing offensive, please - and no renders)

I'm not sure if a poll was the best way to go about judging this- after all, everyone can see who's winning by how much and people can vote for themselves (only once, but still).

But this contest is really well organized, and the entries are brilliant! Good luck to all who entered!

Hmm, you do have a good point on that . . . However, I find it easier than having people PM their votes . . . and I like all of the entries equally. Thanks for your input though! But I'm curious: How do you think I should do it without having others become influenced by the popular vote? I mean, I don't have a clue how other contests choose winners (with the exception of those that the creator chooses the winner).

Thank you so much! This is my first contest on the site, and I'm surprised how well-received it is amongst members! I wanted it to be organized and fair, as well as allow other people on the site to take part in choosing a winner. Again, thanks!

(Really? That's great! I know that I've seen many people on here that prefer WoC over WQ, so I think the number of entries would be far greater. I have a sample version that I'm working on, but it's on the back-burner right now . . . school stuff still comes first!)

Anyway, I do have an announcement!

Since I am returning back to school, I may not be able to start the WoC fan-cover contest until mid-May (probably ending at the end of the year again. I liked that.). Also, the first through third place winner's prizes will be available probably around March.

I do have a surprise for everyone that did participate in the contest by making an entry, so look for it around Valentine's Day in your PM box!

UPDATE: 1/26/09

Okay, this is going to be odd. Thanks much in part to the username/password dilemma on the BS site, I cannot access my screen name on there (I can still post on here, strangely. I just can't edit my information or change passwords/emails/etc.). As I am not sure what else I can do at this moment, I will only be able to send things to those with accounts on the forums (unless I create a new account on the site).

I only hope that this perpetrator gets his just desserts for crapping up my account on the site. *growls*

Oh, and there's still a little while before the voting ends! I hope I can edit the contest by that time for you guys!
