Hi everyone. I was just thinking over the years what's life for you off the computer, and there background story about there life.
I don't know about you but I think it's good to know a lot about the people we converse with on the web, since we don't get a chance to meet them in person, or very rarely anyway.


Post in a format like your background (as much as you want to share), significant events in your life, how everything is going at the moment, what your hoping to do in the future.

Okay I gues I go first.

Anyway, what I feel thsi topic is doing is trying to get your personal details and what not?

If you mean by talking about yourself, then yes.

Mm, sounds kinda lika creepy ploy to get people to spill personal information like name, age, location, etc., or something. I don't think many people are gonna be comfortable w/ sharing their whole life story to a group of, face it, strangers.

The anonymity of the internet is what makes it so appealing to a lot of people - not to mention it's safer. I mean obviously people can go ahead and share certain things about themselves and it shouldn't compromise their safety or identity - I mean like what you had for breakfast and your pet's names and such



Sorry, but this is the line that just made me think "creepy" <.< i don't want people I talk to on the internet occassionally (or maybe not even at all) to know "a lot" about me...

Not to mention, such a request on a forum frequented by a lot of younger kids (as young as 10 I think) is just asking for trouble of some kind, don't you think?
