Hello, i've been on the forum since January 8th 2008, I remember it well because.... I joined on my birthday!

Anyway, I cant really say what my happiest moments on the site where, the ste never really changed my mood, probably sadest times was when i sit in the Banned box, happiest times when i'm roleplaying, or having a laugh on the site.

The only thing I could think of as being a story, is that i'm the highest ever poster of members that joined in 2008 (And i'm 4th in members joining since the start of 2007). and i'm currently 8th highest poster on the forum.

2006, n00b year:

I discovered Balto Source in Yahoo search, trying to find a place where I might belong. With people who like Balto! I wanted a place where I could show off my art, (Which stands to be horrible to this day) talk about things I like, and make friends.

I remember the first 5 people who ever talked to me. they were Martin The Warrior, Suka, Kari, Nava The Wise, and Shadow In The Storm. My first name was Savannah because that was the name of my old character.

I also remeber freaking out because I had No clue what the 'xD' face was, and it was in every post.

I spoke SMS and I had no clue how to RP. Everyone said "Oh you gotta RP, you gotta RP!" I was like... "HOW?!" xD


Soon, I made my first friend, PawPad. She showed me how to RP, and ever since then its all grown bigger, because she made me realize that I love writing and that its my true path in life, nd for that I must thank her! Because before that, I would take a gander in that Rp box!

Soon, I changed my name to Angel_Paw after my new character, a winged white wolf from the heavens. I stopped seeing PawPad, because she was busy in school...

2007:

I soon changed my name to Tavaroy, still the same winged character, but with a new name.
I made lots of new friends, but only for a little while.

I changed it to Dakota, then Uoy-Ekilnu, a buch in hte middle I forget, Fire-Wood, Dancing Shadows, then Stick.

Then, I found the one and only Wolfhome.com! I started ignoring Balto Source.

2008:

This year, I realized how much I missed RPing, and I took it up another step my going to the forums. I started writing and I made a fanfic gallery. I write mostly poems, but I still work on my biggest story yet.

I've made enimies and friends, RP buddies and jus those people you try to ignore.

Bad experiences and good, fights and fun...

I do agree, some bad stuff rules over the good.

I've been on Balto Source since October of 2008 so I'm still a noob. My experience so far has been very nice and I don't have anything bad to say about any members I've met so far. Everything has been very peaceful for me on here and I find this site to be kind of a rare oasis of decency in the vast desert of the internet. What I also like about this site is that it has pushed me to try new things like rping, drawing, and I'm even working on my first fanfic called Captivity.

My favorite part? Well, I don't know if this is the right kind of answer but my favorite part of the site would be the shoutbox.

As for anything funny, cool, or bad, I haven't had anything bad happen and I'd like to keep it that way. I also haven't had much of anything funny or cool happen but I'm sure something will.

I don't have any stories really because well, like I said earlier, I'm new here.

Overall I would give this site a rating of Five stars at best and Four and a half stars at worst.

When I first joined,I didn't have any really high ambitions other than making friends(having about 13 at the moment,but only 2 of them being aware of it).This number is still on the rise fortunatly.
At first I only remained on the site,but soon expanded into the forums.With this I have found very good information and the ability to add information despite having 5 enemies so far.
This does however have a drawback.This website makes up up around half of my social life.

I joined up here on the 5th January 2007. because I was new to the world of Balto, wolves and huskies, and I was eager to explore it all. (including the perhaps not quite-so-excellent aspects of this site).

2007:

Early months - I was a real little madam, often not taking into account other people's feelings and points of view. I also did a few fanfics, although I do not write such material anymore (I prefer writing my own original material).

Mid 2007 - not much, but I could access Balto Source when I was on holiday in Menorca, which was awesome.

Late 2007 - Took a real gamble here with my 'Lion King - Overrated?' topic. Although I got a very mixed and controversial response, I am somewhat glad that I did it because it helped me learn to respect other people's views, as well as find out that you CAN be friends with someone, even if you don't always agree with them. This has helped as much in real life as it has on the Internet.

2008:

Not much, apart from settling down and just having a nice time on these forums. Yes, there have been trolls and people who have annoyed the heck out of me, but I get by. I'm not afraid to voice my opinions on here, but I feel that there is some sort of etiquette to it.

2009:

No idea, but I do not intend to leave any time soon. I would rate my experience here as 4 1/2 stars, because there have been a few rough patches, but overall I've had a lot of fun on here.

I first joined Balto Source since August 22, 2008. I don't want to talk further of my life, though.

Been around since November 2005, and HAEL yuss, this is still my original account!!!

Honestly, this site has may things to offer. Although I'm not exactly all for sitting for hours to read fanfics or flip through art, it's really nice to see all the variation around here... even when sometimes, it's just plain awkward or annoying. Being that is, I believe what makes this site degrading in a sense is what also makes it one of the best places to hang out on: the people here.

Like JerseyCaptain said, I've met many respectable members that I've come to respect and feel comfortable joking around with. Others, not so much. But I don't dwell on that. What makes BaltoSource my cyber-café is that a great majority of the people here are easy-going and caring; even if they are just seven-year-olds [Some physically, some mentally]. And steet's been making all sorts of changes and add-ons, and has been a really great webmaster. Of course, you can't control everyone here, and you can't please everyone at the same time, but he sure does a good job at keeping up with people's say on the matter and listening.
