I love it, have you seen the movie? It's very good, there's also a "t.v. series" or hour long shows. But neither of them are as good as the book.

I've read Watership Down, yes :3 I have it in paperback as well as the Plague Dogs (also by Richard Adams; Plague Dogs is quite a bit darker if I may say so, as it focuses a lot on the the cruelty & effects of animal research). I wish I had the movie, but instead I just have a few episodes of the crappy TV series on DVD Which cover basically what the book/movie do, but in choppy adaptation for lil kids to view. It's a classic, definitely. I remember reading it in middle school and being completely unable to put it down during class The way Adams created such an intricate world belonging to, of all animals, rabbits, was... captivating My favorite characters were Bigwig and Campion. I also quite liked one of the female rabbits, too, whose exact name escapes me - the one who helped plan a runaway from Efrafa? Hyzenthlay, was it? Or Thethuthinnang?

I beleive, if I'm not mistaken, that they were either: A. The same rabbit (you know Bigwig's real name was like... T-something) B. Two different rabbits. Only Hyzenthlay is in the movie, they make her look so pretty. And in the OTHER version of the movie, her name is Primrose - shudders -

I loved Watership down it was really well written and had great characterization and strong characters, its one of my favorite books. Silent_Cola wrote: B. Two different rabbits. In the second watership down book (which I haven’t read) I believe she becomes co-leader with Hazel which annoys Bigwig. Yes in the watership down TV series (which I have seen all of it) the character was changed to Primrose which is an awful character nothing like Hyzenthlay at all and gets on my nerves
