I got left 4 dead on my birthday, and i find it really fun, it's A.I directed, Zombies everywhere coming out at different spots than anyother game

the game is awsome

umm, i don't quite understand.

I don't think this is a game,I believe it's pointless,and spam.

Oh my goshh! Left for dead is an awesome game!!! my friends brother was playing it and i want to get it now! XD

For people who don't understand.

Left 4 Dead is a Video game made by Valve's Crew that is about a Zombie Acopalypze. There are 4 Playable Characters known as Bill, Louis, Zoey and Francis. Each of them have their own background information but no special abilities or whatsoever.

The game is about a long campaign which was sadly separated to few different Chapters No Mercy, Blood Harvest, Death Air, Death Toll. This was one big Campaign but it was parted into these sections.

No Mercy is the campaign what starts ONCE the Intro ends. The crew is supposed to head for No Mercy Hospital's Roof for a evacuation. Each map ends for a evacuation and final battle.

About the zombies, they are very well designed and their AI is somewhat incredible. They are decent in any possible way. If they are not disturbed they are hanging around leaning on walls and vomiting and even fighting against one another. If they are flashed with flashlight or shot at they will charge the survivor.
Among the common zombies there are a cast of "Special Infected". These Special Infected has different special attacks and methods.

Smoker
Smoker has a long tongue that it uses to wrap survivors and pull them out from the group. When it dies it will leave a cloud of smoke to disguise and himmer survivor's Line of Sight and makes them to cough a lot.

That is only one of the Special Infected.The rest of them are Hunter, Boomer.

Smoker, Hunter and Boomer are typical classes seen in L4D. Along with them there will be Special cases where there will be a Tank or a Witch. Tank is a big Hulk like thing that crushes and throws stuff at the survivor, it is hard to kill and has a lot of HP. The Witch is a Dangerous thing and it is advisable to circle it and not alert her. She can 2 hit kill a Survivor with her large claws and she is usually found on floor crying in misery so don't disturb her, if one does you can then watch when others continue onward without you because the one who disturbes her- will die.

L4D gameplay is beautiful but it really requires multiplay to make it more interesting and a decent team to play with. Otherwise it will ruin the game experience.


The Versus Mode. Unlike the Campaign in Versus there will be 2 Teams. Infected and the Survivors and each team has 4 players.

Both team has their goal. Survivors to survive and Infected to kill. Infected side plays with Smoker, Boomer and with Hunter and in some cases with the Tank.


The game's weaponry is quite simple. It has 3 Tier weapons.
Tier 1 weapon is a Colt 1911 with unlimited ammo 15 ammo clips.
Tier 2 weapons are, Shotgun (8), Israel Uzi Submachinegun (50)
Tier 3 weapons are, Automatic Shotgun (10), M16A3 Assault Rifle (50), Hunting Rifle (M4 Scoped version 15 mag).

Extra stuff: Health Kits, Painpills, Pipe bomb, Molotov Coctail and a Extra Colt 1911.

Each Survivor as well have a Secondary attack, Melee To show off groups of enemies that try to surround you or just come too close. In Versus mode Cool down has been added for the Melee so one can not spam it anymore.


Left 4 Dead is a Enjoyable game, it is scary and requires team work. Try to stay alive will ya? Haha
Oh as well to tell everyone. This game isn't really recommendable for kids. It has gory stuff and so on. swearing included.

L4D was Recently Updated!

This new update contained new Gamemode. Survivors.

The crew of four players have supplies and health kits and all other items for their use, almost endless supply.

Players mission is to survive as long as possible during constant horde assaults with hordes of special infected and normal zombies. The best time is usually 10 minutes and will unlock achivement Gold Medal. The new gamemode is hard.

As well Versus Mode now has 2 more playable campaigns. Death Toll and Dead Air are now implemented to Multiplay Versus mode.

this game compares nothing to Dead Space

Basically the two game has nothing combined together.

In this case L4D is a Multiplay Game ONLY where Dead Space is a Singleplay Game. L4D was designed for Multiplayer use. In Dead Space you mainly play Singleplay first then Multiplay.
Their difference is huge in this case. L4D isn't as scary as F.E.A.R. In Gameplay L4D is a zombie shooting FPS with 4 player team where you are dependant of your team mates. Running around alone is faster way to die than trying to crowbar kill a Antlion Guard in HL2 (which is possible anyway)

Left 4 Dead is basically a Edited Source Engine game where Dead Space is its own engine with better graphics. They can't be really compared to one another if one asks me. They were released in different years too.

Both are as well situated in different places. Dead Space did look a little like Doom 3 to me when I checked it out.
It looks like mix of FEAR and Doom 3 which makes a cool mix in my opinnion.
