Hello members of Balto Source, I yet have another topic discussion.
In the past school term, the fire alarm has gone of 14 times, within 6 weeks - And once went off 3 days running.
I mean, last year it went off 13 times within four terms, but 14 times in one? It's abit pathetic, and yet - The punishment is a phone call home, after school detention and a day in the exclusion room and the school are doing NOTHING to try and stop kids from setting the fire alarm off.
I mean, in the end - It's the same as the story "Pup cried Hunter", when/if there is ever a fire, either the fire alarms won't go off, or we would all ignore it.
What do you think?

I hate it when it goes off during lunchtime. >.< Right, I'll tell you about the time it went off three days running: Monday: Period (Lesson) 5 - RE - BRILLIANT! Tuesday: Period (Lesson) PM Reg. - Afternoon form time - Slightly annoying. Wednesday: Period (Lesson) KS3 Lunch - Lunch time for Year's 7, 8 and 9 - REALLY annoying.

I don't think a school would ever ignore a fire alarm unless they're notified it's a practice, no matter how many time it's been going off. If they did, that would just be plain stupid, no offense. And I take fire alarms seriousely, because one day my school actually did set on fire. But yeah... it's the principal's decision, not mine. XP

Ours allways goes off....There allways haveing fire drills. They allways scare the liveing crap out of me. And I end up allways have a long pencil mark on my paper. Though one time, it was a cold winter day, in the morning. I was in art class and the fire alarm goes off. so we go outside. we were out there awhile, freezeing and we here fire trucks screaming down the road. They go behind our school (there's dirt road that leads to the shop.) There was a small fire in the shop class. but big enouph to need fire trucks o___o

This topic is such a coincidence because my school's fire alarm went off just a few days ago. In fact, it happened twice in three days and one of the times I actually saw the person pull it. I would have told the administration but I never got a good look at the person and since I go to a high school of almost three-thousand it's hard to tell who's who.

Well, I feel my school fire alarms are much better then american one's, in amerca, they scare the living crap out of you, at my school it comes out over the intercom, so it's not that loud, but loud enough so you can hear it clearely.

Well, ours our pretty bad. The worst is when they first turn on and the noise they make gets lots louder the closer ya get to it and to exit the buildings ya walk directly below them so it's very loud. What country are ya in?

England. The only places alarms are allowed to go over a certain noise level is in a Hospital, University, or Party place (i.e Tennant Hall or Holiday camp).
