Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I just wanted to say that you obviously know your stuff in this genre, and I liked this segment a lot. I'm looking forward to reading this when it's done.

I love this story. I can't wait to see what happens next! As somebody who used to run open track days at a few different tracks, I find the details fascinating. The helmet problem was a great observation.
Really good work, can't wait to read the whole thing.

Yeah. I used to drive and instruct at Willow Springs and Buttonwillow in California. I don't do it any more but it was fun while I was doing it.

Very nice. You have a good instinct for detail I think. It reads smoothly, I never feel like there's too little or too much information. Keep it up!
