Do you think it was scary. Also that was wrong what John Carpenter did to those dogs!

This is one of my favorite horror films. I didn't really think it was scary, but it did have quite a bit of blood and gore. John Carpenter's The Thing is a 1982 sci-fi horror remake of a 1951 film called "the Thing from Another World" which is a film based off a 1938 book titled "Who Goes There?" written by John Wood Campbell Jr. It's basically about an Arctic research base that finds an alien life form under the ice that is able to duplicate other life forms. The parts with the dogs were kinda disturbing but I feel that's the whole point of horror films, To shock, frighten, and disturb people.

Oh yeah. That was bizzare. Then, it got crazy later. I enjoyed watching that film.
