This was inspired by a recent inappropriate questions in the (site) question section. It was asking for a section not suitable for a kid-orientated site-some of you may have seen it.
the unusual thing about it was that the person was a registered member! both his username and his question wer inappropriate.

So be cause of this and other inappropriate questions. I thought hat maybe a report button for each question, when a question is posted. Which appears when a question is posted next to the question Itself and and/or the title on the questions list.
The buttons wold then send a PM to Steet and all the moderators that have the ability to remove it and contact the author of the question (if possible).

With a button a PM's might be sent more often and quicker, so that the inappropriate question wold be removed quicker.

I honestly don't think there really needs to be a 'button' of that sort. I actually get a lot of members that will just send me a PM if they find a question they think is inappropriate. Besides, I think only Draco and I can remove questions - besides Steet.

Having a PM sent to the maker of the question really wouldn't do much but tell them "Hey, you're question'll probably get deleted" because once you make a question and it's on the site, it cannot be edited.

I dunno. To me it just kinda seems just another of those things that members would never use anyway. You have the report feature on the ShoutBox, and people hardly ever use that. I don't see why this would be any different. It would probably become a wasted effort.

That is true. But then it might turn to them not reporting them as often if they find something about it isn't done that instant. Just one of the problems with today's youth. ^^; Instant gratification ; something they all want.

I agree with cat. Maybe one for contests too, it won't hurt.

About the questions though, I'm kind of in the middle. A report button would be nice, but like Tibb said..

I will add report buttons everywhere, I am currently working on doing this with comments. (I'm re-making the comments system)
I know very well that people are lazy and/or don't think of sending a PM when they see a problem.
I will make a system similar to the ones on the forums, for the mods to see all the reports from a section and manage them one by one.

There should be a report button on :
- each gallery
- each creation (fanart, fanfic, contest, question, etc...)
- each comment

Of course, the choice of deciding what to do after something has been reported, will be left to the mods.
