OOC: Sorry haven't posted in a while.
Like every other morning, Kovu used the sun as his natural alarm clock. When it's powerful rays penetrated his home on pride rock, he reluctantly opened his eyes, stretched out his body, and prepared for the new day. After he said hello to the other lions and lionesses and went looking for Kiara. Since she wasn't back from her trip to the water hole Kovu decided he had enough time to take a walk in the savanna before his mate/wife got back. He heard from Zazu that there was an old human camp about a mile's walk away from pride rock that he had been meaning to check out. After saying good-bye to everyone kovu left pride rock and started on his way to the camp.
