Yes I am doing pixels with backgrounds! I can turn your charrie into a selcted emotion then I can also (using my own made backgrounds) put them on sig.s or icons. Below is examples but there would be no color(like the blue sqaures around them) around your pixel unless you want it to.

As for DA icon I am certaintley perfect but If I try I can do okay DA icons.
