This does look pretty good. Can't say I'll see it at the theatre but I'll probably buy it when I see it comes out on DVD.

Did you guys know that the whole backbone of the entire Narnia series is Christianity based? It will be interesting if they keep the Christian symbolisms intact, or if hollywood will strip it of them and make it just another fantasy flick.

CS Lewis was considered a doctor of the Roman Catholic faith.

I've read the entire series, some of the books more than once. I enjoyed them. C.S. Lewis' stepson is supposed to be in charge of making sure they stick to the book and not add in any Hollywood crap. Yay for him! Let's just hope the films live up to the books.

I surely hope so. If they strip this of all it's roots, it will just not work.

I'm not sure I want to see it because I hate movies where they make wolves look evil and it definitely looks like they're portraying wolves as vicious human killers in this upcoming film. In the commercial, they show a pack of wolves chasing the main characters and one wolf says in a deep voice, "Take them." Also, if you go to movies.com, watch the special effects clip. It shows the wolves cornering the main characters.

Its not that they portray wolvesi n general as evil. Its Biblical symbolisms and portrayals.

But still...the kids that go see it will think they're killers. Most humans have always seen wolves that way and now more children, the kids that go see the movie, will see them that way too.

I jsut watched a small special clip on it and they were talking about the wolves. I do not think that they will be as bad as you think. the trailer shows them as bad, but who knows....i am really looking forward to it. THe mix of live wolves with cg looks amazing. Oh, wolf pleasure sensors overloading lol.
