I'd change a lot of things, and probably to many to mention or remember, but one would definitly be animation

cut the magic things out! make the animation better. and....um..... Show how Balto gets home.

Well, I would cut the magic out too. If you do that, you also have to change the ending! I would end it in some way that didn't tell how Balto got home, but didn't include magic either
