I cant wait until 2010, i'll die!!!! I finished the first three books a while ago and they are the BEST books I have read in a long time. I re-read them not that long ago and you could actually put your own character in and it would make sense, don't ask why I tried that. But anyway I think they have great plot twists, etc, but the film did cut out loads and replace it with nonsense, like the fact that if a rider dies the dragon automatically dies. It's mean on the dragon.

Yep.....read them all. I can't wait until the next book come's out, but the movie; not so much. They totally ruined the book after that crazed director took like half of the book out of the movie.

They should have done what they did with the golden compass and make it into 2 halves, and then keep all the information in the story, I wouldn't mind watching it then

Yes, the book are very good, I like them and I'm actually reading Brisingr...I don't know when the forth (and last) one will come out but I'm very courius about it!
Yes, the movie sucks!! When I went to the cinema all the guys that came to see it became very angry after seeing it...they skipped the most importants parts of the book (where, for example, Eragon learn how to fight, how to use the magic ect) and in the end of the fist book Murtagh disappearead and in the movie he's still there, with Eragon, Saphira and Arya O_o

Not to mention they left ALL the best Murtagh scenes out! He was psyco in the movie! Crazy! BIG BASKET OF NUTS! I know he was a tiny bit unhinged in the book but there was SO much more to him than that! He had a lot to give and he was just a nut case in the movie! GRR!!!
