Sneakers: A short story about two teenagers. Written by Griffin; banner by Griffin.
This is just a story I decided to write. It's pretty pointless. Well, enjoy xD

I flashed a smile back. "Wow. It's beautiful."
He was my boyfriend, and his name was Xavier. Sure, that name was strange, but it didn't get in the way of his charm. Indeed, he had perfect teeth, a muscular frame, and icy blue eyes. His hair was shining black. It was my favorite kind of hair.
Xavier and I have been going out for about a month now. We became attached quickly, and news quickly spread through our high school about us. Xavier promised me a few days ago he'd drive to the beach that lighted his childhood. He said it was beautiful, and "the best darn beach I'd ever see". Now, sitting in the car with him, I agreed with that, even if I'd only been staring at it for a few seconds.
Abruptly, Xavier swung the car door open and jumped out on the pavement, which was decorated with speckles of sand from the beach, and screeched, "Whoo!" I grinned and opened my door, and together, we ran out onto the beach. The sky was an icy blue. It matched his eyes. The sand that we stood on seemed to have a glowing blue aura.
Ice blue eyes met my pale blue eyes. Xavier said to me, "Take off your sneakers. Let's enjoy this!"
I followed his instructions, tearing off my plan white sneakers. I threw them next to his black converses. After we did so, he took me on a walk in front of the ocean. The waves lapped at our feet. They were cold; the sand was cold. It wasn't exactly the warmest day for the beach, but I payed no attention to that. Only to my boyfriend. I matched his stride as we paced along the wet sand. Our hands were binded together by our fingers. He flashed his white teeth in a wide grin; he was happy, and so was I.

Xavier quickly located a stream of large, dark rocks. Pointing them out, we jogged the two-hundred-feet-or-so to them. Xavier took my hand in his and helped me scrabble upon a huge rock. Its dark gray surface was smooth and surprisingly comfortable. Once he saw that I was on it correctly, he climbed - graceful and as powerful as a great mountain lion - onto one beside me. We smiled at each other. I felt
good. Good to be with him. I had serious feelings for him.
"Kayla, I really have serious feelings for you," he said, echoing my thoughts.
Surprised at this coincidence, I replied, "Yeah. Me too. I really, really, like you. We can make this last all year, I know it!"
"Of course we can," he replied amusedly.
He looked me in the eyes. I was taken over by those icy orbs. He smiled. I looked at his snow-white teeth. His rosy lips. Those rosy lips that I wanted so badly to be pressed to mine! I couldn't contain it; I grabbed his arm, and leaned my head against his shoulder. He caressed my palm. In one swift movement, I transfered my head from his shoulder to his chest. His chin rested upon my black hair. All at once I became impatient and whispered, "Oh, Xavier," looking up at him with my pale blue orbs. He seemed to be thinking the same as me, for he wrapped his arms around my waist, and pulled me with him as we fell three feet off the smooth rocks. We landed with a
thud! on the cold sand, rolling over with each other in a warm embrace. Finally, what I've been waiting days for.. We kissed. Our lips met, and we kissed.
