I was thinking that maybe members should be able to delete comments they get in their galleries. If they are spammed for example they can delete the comment only the person who created the gallery can delete the comments they get.

hmm, i realy like the idea! wouldn't it also save space wouldn't it?

I'm pretty sure that this has been suggested beforem I remember it anyway.

I think a better idea would be a button to request a comment deleted.
As in, a person sees a bad comment or spam on their gallery they can click a little icon so that the comment goes invisible but is not deleted. A message is sent to the mods showing the message which was reported/requested deleted and if it's spam or rude it can be deleted and if not the mod can "deny the request" and it re-appears in the gallery.

That way members can still get rid of bad or spam comments but it stops people just deleting any comments or deleting any comments by a friend they've fallen out with just to spite them.

Yeah, that makes sense. Be able to get just spammy comments deleted.

Agreed. I could see alot of members just delete comments because they fought with a friend or to make someone they dislike look bad...

Though, if the deletions would be moderated, then I think there should be no problem with putting this up and it's also a pretty useful idea.
