A Roleplay fictions section!!!

Ok, I've seen completed roleplays posted in the FanFictions section, and I must admit I like reading them. But I don't think that they should be grouped with self-written fanfictions, since they are made by two or more people. A suggestion is that we make 2 sub-catergories in the fictions section- one for self written fictions and one for roleplay fictions. ONLY COMPLETED ROLEPLAYS ALLOWED, OBVIOUSLY. And- probably only Balto/TLK related ones too, to avoid congestion :mrgreen:

It would give people a chance to read good roleplays- some of the ones posted on the forum are really good but get no publicity after they are finished- publishing them on the official site would give them a better chance o being read and enjoyed. Well, the idea is that roleplay stories get a seperate section to normal stories.

That's my basic thought.

There is one problem I can think of-

Q1. If its made by more than one person, then whose gallery does it go in?

1. The person who thought up the roleplay
2. All the participants galleries
3. The roleplay is just published as a self-standing piece of work, but underneath there are links to the profiles of all the paricipants- with the main person at the top. ^^

I really like this idea, however, whoever posts the roleplay (even if it is in case no. 3) will have to copy, paste, copy, paste, copy, paste, copy, paste, etc etc... if it is a long roleplay this could take a long time... actually, will, not could.

And I agree with it only being Balto/Lion King roleplays, because it is a fansite after all.

I have never thought of reading other people's roleplays before, mostly because it's quite annoying to sift through all the OOC comments and because the way the pieces of writing are broken up, but if they were combined in one piece of writing on the main site, I would definitely read them.

So, I agree with you 94%.

You're right, if they got published on the main site it WOULD give them a lot more publicity and people would read them a lot more and enjoy them.

And yes it would tkae a long time....

..there must be a way round it!

Well, are there really roleplays "converted" into fanfics? I will only open a section if there are already many topics of the same kind. If it's not the case, I think it's better to leave them in the normal fanfic section.

As for co-written fanfics (coming from roleplays or not), I still need to figure out a way to manage co-written creations. (it could apply to fanarts too, for example) For now, someone can submit them in his own fanfic gallery, specifying in the description who participated.

Well CatWhoHas14tails has done it... Skotta is in the process of it.. I've seen it alot. I think it's a fantastic idea.
