I've almost been in a tornado once. Well, let's just say I hated life one night, and I was being stupid. I was out in my front yard when a thunder storm was coming, and all of a sudden a tornado was coming down right from above me. Thank god I had the sense to run. I got out of the way, and the tornado almost touched down. It went back up though. >.> But yeah. I was alone at home. My family was gone. All the neighbors were pretty much out and gone, too. So I was all slone in my neighborhood pretty much when this occured, which would have been even more trouble if I were to get caught in it.

The one thing than can still give me nightmares. I been in a funnel cloud before but no tornado, and I hope I never am. Wow Emily, that sounds freaking scary, thank god that thing didn't touch down. Man, if that was me I would have had a nervous breakdown.

Well, like I said, I hated life then. I didn't care about what would happen to me. But when I got sense knocked into me, I began to freak out, noticing it almst touched down and got me. Once it went back up, I got the camera, hoping it would come back. It didn't though. But heck, I've been out in HURRICANES acting like it's normal weather. Especially when I hate life. I've lived in Florida all my life, so... yeah. I'm used to the hurricane stuff. Not the tornados though. That's pretty much the only bad weather that's freaked me out.

No hurricanes for me, or tornadoes in my neck of the woods, but I have been caught in a tornado producing storm though.
It was the summer of 2000, my Mom and I were driving cross country. We were in Toledo, Ohio, when a storm rolled in, blinded us. You couldn't see much further then the hood line, maybe four or five feet visibility. So we're crawling along, and the storm starts to die down. I look out the window and maybe not even a quarter mile away was something that resembled a pretty big funnel cloud. It didn't get anywhere, but on the news that night, we heard about how others saw that, and that there was an EF2 tornado about 20 miles from where we were.

I get them all the time in Florida. Well, it really depends on the type of hurricane. If it's a low type, it's really windy and rainy. Sometimes you'll see things blow around. If it's more serious, it's too dangerous to be out in it. XD Houses collasp, a bunch of stuff blows around, even cars sometimes, roofs fly off, etc. So yeah, it depends on the hurricane. The one I've told you about, and I was standing out there, that was anywhere CLOSE to even a MEDIUM leveled hurricane. So yeah. The worst hurricane I've been through was Hurricane Charely. That was a type 5 hurricane. One of the worst.

Yup, I have been caught in tornadic storms many times. I live close to the tornado alley, and considering global warming right now, it wouldn't be surprising to get one right now. Where I live, a tornado hit the city I live in during JANRURAY and man, it was an F3. Yup, it was a bad one alright. Also, when we were going up north for vacation, it was raining really hard, and we couldn't see at all on the road. When we were talking to a man at the water resort we were staying there that night, it appears that he told us there was a tornado. So without knowing, my family was driving when a tornado was probably a couple yards away. (Or miles XD)
