Hey, anybody heard or read the Winnie the Horse Gentler series by Dandi Mackall?

This 8-book about a 12-year-old Christian girl who used to gentle horses with her mom, until a tragic car accident kills her mother-the only person who "truly understood" her. So now her dad has to quit his fancy business job to take care of her and her 11-year old sister, Lizzy. They end up in Ashalnd, Ohio, where Whinny finds this adorable Arabian horse. You'll have to read the first and all the books to find out the rest!

that sounds like a knock-off from the heartland books.

I've never even heard of Heartland. When was it published?

uhh i am not sure when they were published, but they are newer books. they have made a t.v series of it but the tv series sucks compared to the book.
