Everyone knows the Spirit movie, right? Well, guess what, Spirit fans, there's a book series!!
It's by Kathleen Duey, and the four-book series contains the story of Rain's grandmother (Bonita, book 1 of the series), her mother (Sierra, book 2 in the series), Spirit's mother (Esperanza, book 3), and Spirit himself (book 4)! (Duh, or else it wouldn't be a Spirit series, would it?)
If you have read the series, post your thoughts HERE! If you haven't, read it, then post your thoughts here!

OMG!!! How old are they? I'm Spirit fan lots of years, but I never heard of these. Where can I buy them? Well, I'm from so small and unpopular state in central Europe... so may be I could look for it on ebay. Man, it's perfect! I must ask my friend Crsity... she is Spirit expert too... May be it would be surprise for herself too LOL

You could probably find it at BarnesandNoble.com, and most other book stores. And, yes, I really like the series!! It gives a more detailed look at both Spirit and Rain's personal background and life.
It shows how Esperanza (Spirit's mother) and Strider (Spirit's dad) met, how Sierra (Rain's mother) and Storm (I think it's storm) (Rain's father) met, and how they came to meet the Lakota Indidan tribe where Rain was born!
I only have two of the four books (3&4) But I'm going to get the other two hopefully soon! (You can also find the books at a library catalog, if you're interested in reserving it temporarily before actually getting the series.) And I think they were printed in like 2002(I'll have to look), but they souldn't be any older than the movie.

Hope this answers your question!

:D

They're short reads, but well worth it if you're a big Spirit fan... I have Esperanza and Sierra, myself - I was supposed to be getting Spirit as well, but the book got backordered so I never got it :/ Still, I loved the ones I got :3

They're similar to the movie, I think, in the way that they portray the horses in an emotional, but realistic way - the horses don't talk, but rather they communicate as a real horse would, neighing & nickering & ... body-languaging... etc. You get what I mean.

The beginning of each chapter is in italics and tells a bit from the first person point of view of the title horse, then it switches to third person for the bulk of the chapters.

Not to mention the cover art's just really pretty as well <3

DO GET.

Exactly! The horse-communication and the first-person point of view at the beginning of each chapter make it artistic, I think. Even if they are short books. :D

This is the only book I have read, unfortunately. I don't like reading books, I fall asleep while reading. I think because of this I can't write a Research paper. But I use https://edubirdie.com/research-paper-editing-service where they help me write any assignment for the university. Yes, I understand that this is not a way out of the situation, but it’s just hard for me to write.

By the way, now I'm in college and I was able to buy all the textbooks I need thanks to the fact that I learned that BookScouter sell college books link . This is an aggregator that helps you connect with people who want to buy or sell used books. Separately, I want to note that this site primarily works with students who want to buy and sell textbooks at the best price.
